Elegant Pine Snowflakes Center Flap Card

Here’s a simple holiday card with a fun, center-flap opening. The perfect foundation for the large snowflake layers from the Delicate Pines Bundle!

Background Basics

I started with a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobber cardstock and stamped it randomly along both sides with the pine branches Delicate Pines images in Cherry Cobbler ink. The second part of the card base is also Cherry Cobbler cardstock measuring 3-1/4″ x 8-1/2″, scored at the 4-1/4″ mark. I mounted the back of that piece onto the card base with SEAL Adhesive.

I decorated the center front flap with a 3″ x 4″ piece of Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper. It makes a lovely contrast for the focal point snowflake.

Sensational Snowflake

I stamped the snowflake using the Delicate Pines two-step stamp set. the largest snowflake was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink and the smallest snowflake was stamped with Old Olive. Both were die-cut with the coordinating Delicate Pines Dies. Notice on the large snowflake that the inside of the snowflake was also cut out with dies. You can run both dies on that snowflake in one pass. Both snowflakes are popped up with Dimensionals onto the center flap. I finished with a single Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes gem in the snowflake center.

Sweet Sentiment

I stamped a Delicate Pines sentiment in Pretty Peacock onto a 3-1/4″ x 5/8″ strip of Old Olive cardstock and popped it up with more Dimensionals.

Inside The Card

I stamped more Delicate Pines snowflakes in Pretty Peacock and Old Olive ink onto a 3″ x 4″ piece of Basic White for the message area on the inside of this fun-fold card.
