Today, I'm sharing another pair of swap cards from my Too Cool team, this time featuring two stamp sets that coordinate perfectly with the Pansy Punch!
Created by Carmen DeBruce.
#1 Carmen's Two Tall Pansies Card—Carmen DeBruce created this pretty card with the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. I love the flowers up against the Brick Wall textured backdrop! Let's see the details…
Background Basics—Carmen started by stamping the Birthday Blossoms cluster of flowers image in Smoky Slate ink onto the top right and bottom left corners of a Smoky Slate card base. Next, she embossed a 4-1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White card stock with the Brick Wall Texture Impressions Folder and adhering it with SNAIL.
Flower Stems & Leaves—The tall flowers are created with two 1/8" wide strips of Wild Wasabi card stock: one 3-1/2" tall and one 2" tall. The Birthday Blossoms leaves are stamped in Memento Black Ink onto Wild Wasabi card stock, then hand-cut with Paper Snips and attached to the stems with SNAIL.
Pretty Pansies—Carmen stamped the Birthday Blossoms pansy onto Crushed Curry cardstock with Crushed Curry ink, then punched them out with the coordinating Pansy Punch. The petals are curled a bit with a Bone Folder, then the blooms are popped up with Dimensionals on the top of the stems.
TIP: The Pansy Punch and coordinating images are not symmetrical, so it helps to keep that in mind when stamping. I like to mark the top of the stamp with a Sharpie dot, so that I know it lines up perfectly when I go to punch it.
Sweet Sentiment—The greeting is also from Birthday Blossoms and it's stamped in Smoky Slate onto a 3" x 3/4" piece of Whisper White that is fishtail cut on the end.
Finishing Touches—Carmen adorned the pansies with some White Perfect Accents and added a Crushed Curry Baker's Twine Bow underneath the sentiment with a Glue Dot.
#1 Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
- Stamps—Birthday Blossoms (clear, wood)
- Ink—Memento Black Ink; Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate Classic Ink
- Paper—Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Smoky Slate & Whisper White card stock

Created by Janet Shinn.
#2 Janet's Birthday Flower Shop Card—Janet Shinn used her Pansy Punch in combination with the Flower Shop stamp set for another delightful birthday card.
Background Basics—Janet created a layered background of 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Melon Mambo and adhered to a Basic Black card base.
Leaves Foundation—For the focal point, Janet stamped the Crazy About You leaves image in Mint Macaron onto a 2-3/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Janet finished the background with a Melon Mambo birthday greeting from the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set that I featured yesterday.
Layered Flowers—The Flower Shop pansies were stamped in Melon Mambo ink onto Whisper White, then punched with the Pansy Punch. I love the look of the layered Petite Petals flowers, also in Melon Mambo, and punched out with the Petite Petals Punch. The top flowers are raised with Dimensionals and topped with Pearl Jewels. Very nice!
#2 Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
