Power of Hope All Things Possible Card
The gold embossed images on these two Power of Hope cards remind me of old wallpaper from the 1970s? Am I showing my age…LOL?! I created both of these cards as part of my LIVE Class and you can make them with the LIVE Class Kit.
Background Basics—I embossed a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder, part of the Power of Hope Bundle that can be earned for FREE with a $100 order during Sale-a-Bration. I mounted it onto a Thick Whisper White card base.
Embossed Layer—I stamped the Power of Hope tree images with VersaMark ink all over a 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Poppy Parade, then sprinkled on Gold Embossing Powder and heated it with a Heat Tool until glossy and smooth. It's adhered to the card front with SNAIL.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Power of Hope sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White. I also inked up the tree image with Poppy Parade ink, stamped off one time and stamped the image over the top of the sentiment. I punched it out with a Label Me Lovely Punch. For the gold accent layers, I punched a Gold Foil Label Me Lovely shape, cut it in half and positioned it on the top and bottom of the stamped label. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I finished with a gold Designer Element giving some shine and weight to the bottom right corner.
Power of Hope Front Flap Card
This card has a similar layout to the first card, but I added a fun front flap to it.
Background Basics—The Gray Granite card base measures 7-3/4" x 5-1/2" and it's scored at the 3-1/2" mark. I did the same gold embossing with the tree image onto a 3" x 5" piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock this time. It's layered onto a 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" Black mat and mounted onto the front panel.
Inside The Card—I embossed a 1" x 5-1/4" strip of Gray Granite with the Stone Folder and adhered it to the right edge of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. Before mounting it to the inside of the card, I added the front flap. It measures 2-1/2" x 2" and is scored along the 2-1/2" side at the 1/2" mark. I attached that 1/2" tab behind the inside layer with Tear & Tape.
The inside sentiment was created like the focal point of the previous card, with the tree stamped off in Pretty Peacock.
Focal Point—I stamped the Power of Hope image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and colored it in with a Light Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends Marker. It's die-cut with the Layering Ovals dies and matted onto a Gold Foil scallop oval die-cut with the same dies. I used Dimensionals to pop the focal point up onto the front flap. Too Cool!
