Friendly Hello "Hello Friend" Card

Janet Holmes created this sweet and simple card using the Friendly Hello Bundle. I love the monochromatic look with the Petal Pink & Basic Black colors.

Background Basics—Janet embossed the bottom of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White with the striped pattern from the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders. Next, she adhered some pretty Friendly Hello DSP measuring 3" x 4" across the embossed piece .She wrapped some Silver Metallic Mesh Ribbon around the layers, securing the ends on the back. It's all mounted onto a Petal Pink card base.

Focal Point—Janet die-cut a Basic White label with the Scalloped Contours Die, then stamped the Friendly Hello sentiment on it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. She added some flowers from the set, stamped in Petal Pink, then popped up the label with Dimensionals. She finished by adding a few Rhinestones Jewels.

Friendly Hello With Sympathy Card

Marcia Gay's swap card also featured the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper and a Petal Pink & Black monochromatic theme. Love it!

Background Basics—Her card begins with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic Black cardstock that's been "die-cut" with the pattern from the Stitched Greenery Dies. She mounted a 4" x 3" piece of the DSP onto the center then adhered the layers to a Petal Pink card base.

Sweet Sentiment—Marcia stamped a sentiment from another Sale-a-Bration selection, the Special Moments stamp set, also FREE with a $100 order. She stamped the sentiment on a Basic White die shape that, for the life of me, I cannot place. I looked in the two current catalogs three times and couldn't find it. It was popped up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—Marcia finished by tying a Black & White Gingham Ribbon bow and attaching it to the top of the label. She also added three three Matte Black Dots to the bottom of the label. Perfect!
