Hi Stamping Friends!

It's so good to be back!  I've been feeling a bit under the weather for a few days, and it all started right before I finished blogging for Project Sheet Friday!  So, we are going to make it a Project Sheet Monday, since we are running out of time for Christmas cards!  Today's projects are Christmas cards in a pretty, neutral Soft Suede color.

Speaking of running out of time…there is just enough time to order a Too Cool Stamping Gift Certificate!

Ask Santa For A Gift Certificate—Is Stampin' Up! on your Christmas Wish List?  Let your family & friends know that I offer Too Cool Stamping Gift Certificates in any denomination, good for use on Stampin' Up! products and my Too Cool Stamping classes!  I'll even send it with a hand-made gift card holder!  Gift-giving couldn't be any easier for the stamping enthusiast!  Have them contact me today!

#1 Father Christmas Greetings Card

Background Basics—Stamp the Father Christmas "Christmas Greetings" in Soft Suede ink at the top of a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Very Vanilla.  Stamp the other border image in Soft Suede at the bottom.  Sponge Soft Suede ink around the edges of the layer, then adhere to the Very Vanilla card base.

Oval Focal Point—Stamp the Father Christmas image in Soft Suede ink onto Very Vanilla card stock, then die cut with the third largest Layering Ovals Framelits. Sponge the edges with more Soft Suede ink and layer onto a Soft Suede oval die-cut.

Finishing Touches—Add SNAIL over the back of the layered oval, then add loops of Gold Metallic Thread to the back.  Add more SNAIL, then adhere a piece of the Very Vanilla Lace Trim before popping the entire oval onto the card front with Dimensionals.

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.

#2 Merry Medley Christmas Window Card

Background Basics—Stamp the Merry Medley image in Soft Suede onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Soft Suede card stock. Using the 2-1/2" diameter scallop Layering Squares Framelits, die-cut a window into the stamped layer. The Merry Medley background stamp is currently ON SALE!

Temporarily adhere the die-cut layer onto the front of the Very Vanilla card base.  Position the smaller 2-1/4" scalloped square framelit in the cut window, then run through the Big Shot to complete the window hole.  Lift up the stamped layer and tie some Gold Natural Trim around the card before adhering it completely to the Vanilla card base.

Window Dressing—Die cut a 2-1/2" scalloped square from Cherry Cobbler card stock and a 2-1/4" scalloped square from Gold Glimmer paper.  Adhere together using Glue Dots.  Carefully align them on the inside of the card and adhere in place using SNAIL.

Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the Holly Jolly Layers greeting in Cherry Cobbler onto Very Vanilla card stock and die cut with the 1-7/8" Layering Squares Framelit.  Adhere on the top of the scalloped layers with Dimensionals.
