#1 Sending Love Notes Card

 

From the sweethearts border, to the cute mini love notes, to the larger pop-up hearts not shown on this card, the Love Notes Framelits make simply adorable die-cuts for Valentine's or any "love" occasion!

 

Background Basics—Use the Love Notes Framelits to die cut a hearts border on a 4-1/5" x 5-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake card stock.  Rub the Embossing Buddy over the layer and stamp the "love note" phrase onto the bottom, then emboss with White Embossing Powder.  Stamp the Sealed With Love striped heart image randomly over the entire piece with Crumb Cake ink.  Adhere a 1" x 5-1/2" strip of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper along the right edge of the card front, then adhere the Crumb Cake layer over the top, so the glimmer is peeking out. 

Love Notes—Die cut two Pink Pirouette mini envelopes with the Love Notes Framelits.  Stamp one with the little square postage stamp image in Crumb Cake ink.  Assemble the envelopes with Glue Dots and adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Glue.  Stamp the little hearts border in Pink Pirouette onto Whisper White card stock, then die-cut. Stamp the "I love you" image on the note in Crumb Cake, then insert the note and secure with a Glue Dot.

Finishing Touches—Tie vanilla ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front and tie into a double-knot.  Punch out some hearts from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper with the Confetti Heart Punch and adhere them on the notes and near the embossed sentiment.

#2 Double Take Love Card

 

If you want to make a bold impact on the front of your card, try the new Double Take stamp set with layered words!  It makes it fun and easy to make cool drop-shadows and the images have a groovy, retro feel!  See more fun ideas with this stamp set: Stampin' Up Double Take Video.

 

Background Basics—Emboss a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Blushing Bride card stock with the Falling Petals embossing folder.   

 

Cool Sentiment—Stamp the "Love" word in Blushing Bride onto Whisper White card stock, then stamp the bold coordinating outline image over the top of it in Real Red ink.  Finally, stamp the lined black detail image over the top in Archival Black ink.  Cut out the banner shape with super-sharp Paper Snips. 

 

Finishing Touches—Wrap some Black Baker's Twine around the texture embossed layer and tie into a knot.  Add another tie in White Baker's Twine, then adhere to a Real Red card base. Attach the white side of a laser-cut Paper Doily behind the banner, then pop up with Dimensionals.
