It's Project Sheet Friday and this week I'm spotlighting two lovely thank you cards that use the Watercolor Pencils for two completely different looks—one is lovely and one is sweet!

Mediterranean Moments Café Thanks Card

The beautiful Mediterranean Moments stamp set has been especially designed for a light & airy watercolor look! I love the enchanting street scenes reminiscent of those in France or Italy. This set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever, Susan Nygaard!

Step-by-Step Instructions

Stamp Mediterranean Moments café scene using Basic Black Archival ink to the far left side of a piece of 4-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Shimmery White cardstock. Let dry.
Stamp the All Things Thanks greeting on the right side of the image using Basic Black Archival ink.
Color in the image using Watercolor Pencils. Color some areas darker for shading. This card uses Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso & Old Olive. Blend several colors together to create variegated shades.
Use the Blender Pen to smooth out the pencil lines & blend colors. For darker, bolder colors, you can add more layers of color once the first layer is dry.
Using a pencil, hold the Shimmery White cardstock up to the Crumb Cake card base and make a small line to indicate where the lace border should be stamped.
Stamp the Delicate Details lace border image just below your pencil line using Basic Black Archival ink. Let dry. Erase any pencil lines that may show.
Fold the Tip Top Taupe Mini Striped Ribbon in half and adhere ends together with a Glue Dot. Attach ribbon to the back of the Shimmery White cardstock with Glue Dots. Pop up layer with Dimensionals.
Adhere the Classy Designer Button using Glue Dots, aligning it with the ribbon loop as shown. Add a Glue Dot to the top center of the button.
Loop the Copper Metallic Thread around three of your fingers. Slide the thread off your hand and pinch it in the center, adhering it to the Glue Dot on the button. Adhere a pearl to the top of the thread using a Glue Dot.

You're Sublime Loads of Thanks Card

The You're Sublime stamp set has adorable all-occasion sentiments with an image that illustrates the pun. So cute! It's another great set to use with Watercolor Pencils!

Step-by-Step Instructions

Stamp the You're Sublime wheelbarrow image in Archival Black on Whisper White card stock.
Color the image using Watercolor Pencils and smooth out colors with a Blender Pen. This card uses Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Basic Gray colors. Lay down less pencil for light colors, and make heavier strokes for darker colors.
Die cut the colored wheelbarrow image using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
Cut out a Watermelon Wonder scallop circle with the Layering Circles Framelits and adhere circles with Dimensionals.
Adhere the 4" x 3" Tasty Treats designer paper to the 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Watermelon Wonder card stock.
Attach the ends of the Sending Love white ribbon to the back of the Watermelon Wonder using SNAIL Adhesive (or tape to the back). Attach this piece to the Thick Whisper White card base.
Adhere the scallop circle piece on the card using Dimensionals.
Tie a small piece of white ribbon onto the ribbon on the front of the card and trim the ends.
