Spooky & Sparkly Graveyard Gate Card

From the eerie owl sitting on the sparkly gate, to bats flying across the glowing moon, to the creepy rat peeking into the graveyard…this card is packed with hauntingly good elements!

Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. Fold Basic Black cardstock in half to form card base.
  2. Adhere 3-3/4” x 4-1/2” Lemon Lime Twist CS layer to card front.
  3. Punch 1-3/4” Circle from 2” x 3” Whisper White CS – save both pieces to use for masking.
  4. Lightly ‘tack’ circle punched piece on 3-1/2” x 4-1/4” Glossy White card stock for ‘moon’ placement.
  5. Using Sponge Brayer and Elegant Eggplant ink, apply ink to the entire Glossy White paper until desired darkness leaving light/dark areas.
  6. Use Stampin’ Sponge with Basic Black Archival ink to darken some areas and edges of Glossy White CS.
  7. Remove punched circle piece then place ‘negative’ mask over un-inked area. Sponge into circle using Crushed Curry ink.

  11. Stamp ‘brick column’ using Cajun Craze ink onto 1” x 2-1/2” Cajun Craze CS. Hand-cut out with Paper Snips. Then sponge edges lightly with Basic Black Archival ink.

  13. Adhere owl behind brick column then add unit to card front using Dimensionals.
  14. Add Black Rhinestone Jewels to owl ‘eyes’.
  15. Stamp ‘rat’ using Basic Black Archival Ink onto Basic Gray scrap and hand-cut out. Add to card front using Mini Dimensionals.
  16. Stamp sentiment using Elegant Eggplant ink onto 1/4” strip of Whisper White CS. Punch ends using the Classic Label punch, or trim. Add to card front using Mini Dimensionals.
