Quick Country Lane Thanksgiving Cards

Today's card style is a recent favorite of mine because it showcases our beautiful double-sided Designer Series Papers and it's so quick to create!

Country lane card front - curry grateful

Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base of Early Espresso cardstock, scored at the 1-1/4" mark to create a front panel strip. I added a 1/2" x 5-1/2" strip of Crushed Curry cardstock along the front flap edge. Next I adhered a 4" x 5-1/2" piece of Country Lane DSP to the card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive, lining it up flush to the back of the card to make the front cover.

Inside The Card—When you open the card, you can see the pretty Rich Razzleberry design on the back of the paper! I love it! I also added a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White to write on, stamping it with a Falling For Leaves image in Crushed Curry ink.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Country Home sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White cardstock, die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I tied a bow with the Crumb Cake Nature's Twine, then adhered it to a Galvanized Clip with a Glue Dot. So sweet!

Two Cool—The second version uses a different Country Lane DSP pattern and a little strip of Mint Macaron for the front cover.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a greeting from the Falling For Leaves set this time onto a 3-3/4" x 1" piece of Whisper White, fishtailing the end and adhering it to the card front with SNAIL.

Finishing Touches—I die-cut a Mint Macaron leaf with the Detailed Leaves Thinlits dies, leaving all of the little pieces in the holes and attached it with a Glue Dot. I added a True Gentleman Button and a Mint Macaron Nature's Twine bow with Glue Dots, too. This one is my fave!
