Quick Country Lane Thanksgiving Gift Card Cards

Like yesterday's cards, today's card style highlights our beautiful double-sided Designer Series Papers and it's so quick to create! Try this style anytime you need a quick and adorable way to present a gift card!

Country lane diagonal pocket card - mint thankful

Background Basics—This card has a fun-fold opening and pocket that's all created with a single sheet of DSP! I started with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" quarter-sheet card base of Mint Macaron cardstock. Next, I cut a 12" x 5-1/4" piece of the Country Lane Designer Series Paper and scored it at the 4" and 8" marks.

Inside The Card—The panel on the right side is cut from score line to the bottom opposite corner, then adhered on the bottom to create an inside pocket. I adhered the whole DSP folded piece onto the card base with Tear & Tape. How easy and cool is that?

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Country Home sentiment in Cajun Craze ink onto a 4" x 1-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. It's mounted onto a 4" x 2" piece of Cajun Craze cardstock, then tied with some Mint Macaron Nature's Twine before it's popped up with Dimensionals.

Two Cool—The second version starts with a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Blackberry Bliss as the card base. The 5-1/4" x 12" DSP is once again scored at the 4" and 8" marks.

Inside The Card—The inside is cut on the diagonal just like the first card, but this time, it's on the horizontal.

Finishing Touches—I created a little collage on the front of this card. I die-cut the Old Olive maple leaf shape with the Detailed Leaves Thinlits, then texture embossed it with the Corrugated Folder and adhered it with Tear & Tape. Next, I layered a Crushed Curry Pretty Label shape and a 3-3/4" x 1/4" strip of Copper Foil for a little shine. The Country Home greeting was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a 3-1/4" x 3/4" strip of Whisper White with fishtailed ends. I finished with a Blackberry Bliss Nature's Twine bow attached with a Glue Dot.
