You Are Amazing Butterfly Trio Cards

Talk about simple & sweet!  I love the way these colorful butterflies pop against the textured background for a fast & easy card!

CASEd from Robin Messenheimer at Robin's Craft Room.

Background Basics—I started by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock with the Lovely Lace Texture Impressions Folder and adhering it to a Whisper White card base.

Bitty Butterflies—I used the Bitty Butterfly Punch to create butterflies in Hello Honey, Calypso Coral and Rose Red card stock.  They are adhered to a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock with Glue Dots.  I bent their wings a little, too.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a phrase from the Cottage Greetings stamp set at the bottom in Watermelon Wonder ink.

Finishing Touches—I wrapped the Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around that layer before popping it up with Dimensionals.  Then, I added some Pearl Jewels to the butterflies.

Two Cool—I tried a second, horizontal version using a brighter color combination: Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder & Bermuda Bay.  I also substituted the Elegant Butterfly Punch for the center shape. This time I popped the butterflies up with Dimensionals and kept their wings straight.  The Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine worked perfectly with this card.

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
