CASEd from Ronda Wade.
Gift Card Pocket—Accorion fold on the score lines so that the 4-1/4" is a mountain fold. Using the Classic Label Punch, punch 2-3 times along the fold, about a 1/2" from each edge, to notch out the card holder area. You may want to use the gift card or a credit card for a good measurement. Adhere the two sides together with Tear & Tape Adhesive to create the card pocket. Do not add adhesive along the edge that was punched.
Background Décor—I decorated the front with a piece of 5" x 2-1/2" retiring Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper and matted that on a 5-1/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Emerald Envy card stock. I added a 5" x 1/2" strip of Cherry Cobbler to represent a ribbon. Then, I finished off the faux ribbon with a faux Cherry Cobbler bow, created with the Bow Builder Punch. Learn how to make the bow by watching this Stampin' Up Bow Builder Punch Video.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped an Oh, What Fun greeting in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a 3-1/4" x 1" piece of Whisper White, then fishtailed the end and adhered with SNAIL.
Finishing Touches—To secure the holder closed, I used a Gold Bow Clip, and added an Emerald Envy Baker's Twine bow with a Glue Dot to the top. A couple of Pearl Jewels on either side of the bow complete the accents!
Options—It's last-minute, so maybe you don't have all of the parts & pieces to make this exact holder, but you can decorate it any way you want! Don't have the Bow Builder Punch? Simply substitute a real tied ribbon bow in it's place. Don't have a Bow Clip to secure it closed? Try adding a belly band made of card stock, coordinating DSP or ribbon.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
