Retiring: Bottled Happiness Cards!

Use Host Code S2ZYCYK7 For Rock & Roll Suite Class

I’m finally back, friends, and I apologize for my unexpected hiatus! Sometimes my real life gets in the way of stamping and over the past two weeks it did BIG TIME! First my daughter was down with the flu, then I caught her bug. At the same time, we had an emergency in my husband’s family that has kept him busy and needing to stay healthy and away from us sickies at home.

Thankfully, things are finally getting manageable again just in time things to start getting exciting in Stampin’ Up! land! I’m sharing a couple of cards featuring a soon-to-retire stamp set.

Plus, here are some quick updates…

Yes, I’m still planning to do a Rock & Roll Suite LIVE Class as promised! I had planned on doing last week, but now I’ll have to do some catch up. Look for a class date coming in the next few days. In the mean time, if you want anything from this retiring suite…get it now! I’ve added a Host Code for the class so you can order these retiring products before they sell out! TIP: It’s less expensive to purchase the discounted stamps and dies separately, rather than the bundle! Lightening & Stars embellishments are already sold out.

Yes, I’ll be hosting an Annual Catalog Paper Share. Look for details and signups later this week.

Today’s cards both feature the Bottled Happiness stamp set and are both created by my stamping friends. I love how easy it is to make a beautiful focal point with the two-step images from this set! Take a look at these quick & pretty cards.

Julie Davison created this lovely card in just a few steps! She started with a 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Pool Party cardstock adhered to the center of a Calypso Coral card base.

Julie stamped the Bottled Happiness flower image in Calypso Coral ink onto a 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Then she stamped the Bottled Happiness coordinating two-step leaves image in Old Olive over the top.

Next, Julie stamped the Bottled Happiness full bottle image in Pool Part onto scrap Basic White cardstock, adding the detailed two-step image over the top in Orchid Oasis. She used the Vintage Bottle Punch to punch out the shape and pop it up with Dimensionlals under the flowers.

She finished by stamping a Bottled Happiness sentiment in Orchid Oasis ink onto a 4″ x 1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. She used Dimensionals to pop it up over the bottle. Julie finished by adding a Orchard Oasis Baker’s Twine bow on the bottle neck with a Glue Dot. Just darling!

I love the details on the inside of Julie’s card: a simple Pool Party bottle with another complementary sentiment in Orchid Oasis over the top. Too cute!

The second Bottled Happiness card was created by Dena Rekow and is another simple and delightful layout!

Dena began by adhering a 1-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ piece of retired Designer Series Paper with a Tahitian Tide pattern to a Coastal Cabana card base.

Dena stamped two Bottled Happiness bottles, one in Coastal Cabana and another in Tahitian Tide, along the bottle of 2-7/8″ x 4-1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Next, she stamped a branch image and a sentiment, both from the same set, over the top of the bottles in Starry Sky ink. It’s adhered onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Dena finished by adding a Starry Sky die-cut or punched element (I don’t recognize which die/punch…?) and a Tahitian Tide Metallic Ribbon bow. Super cute & quick!
