Kim Vogel created this super-sweet Charming Duck Pond card. Oh, this suite is so much fun to create lovely summer pond scenes! The Lily Pond Designer Series Paper has beautiful and brightly colored pond landscapes. The Charming Duck Pond Bundle has cute duckling images as well as cool coordinating die-cuts. Ahh…so fun to play!

Kim started by embossing a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Peach Pie cardstock with the retiring Dashing Designs Embossing Folder. The layers is matted onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Granny Apple Green, then mounted onto a Pretty Peacock card base.

Kim created a backdrop for the focal point with a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Lily Pond DSP layered onto a 3″ x 3″ piece of Pretty Peacock. Next, she stamped a Charming Duck Pond sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 3-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Basic White for the sentiment layer.

Kim die-cut some Pretty Peacock reeds and cattails with the Charming Duck Pond Dies and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, She die-cut some Pretty In Pink flowers, popping those up with Mini Dimensionals, and Granny Apple Green lily pads, attaching those with Liquid Glue. The colorful duckling is actually die-cut directly from the Lily Pond DSP and popped up with more Dimensionals.

She finished with a few Dappled Dots on the flowers and at the bottom of the card. So, so cute!

Oh, I just LOVE this card I received from Karin Braxton featuring the Lily Pond Suite! She created an album-style card with a cool recessed die-cut layer.

Karin started with an 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4″ and 5-1/2″ marks. She folded the card in half and adhered the panel between the two score lines to the inside of the card to create a “spine” of this album style card. The spine is decorated with a 1″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Lily Pond DSP layered onto a 1-1/8″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Pretty Peacock.

Karin embossed a 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Balmy Blue cardstock with the So Swirly Embossing Folder and mounted it to the card front. Next, she die-cut the Pretty Peacock circle pond layer with the Charming Duck Pond Dies and popped the layer with lots of Dimensionals.

Like Kim’s card above, Karin die-cut the cute little ducklings with the Charming Duck Pond Dies from the Lily Pond DSP. The ducks in the water are adhered with SEAL Adhesive; the duck on the shore is popped up with Dimensionals.

The Charming Duck Pond sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 3-1/4″ x 1/2″ strip of Basic White and popped up with Dimensionals.

Karin die-cut some Pretty In Pink flowers and adhered them along the shoreline, topping them with matching Dappled Dots. Too cute!
