I have another fun team swap card to share with you today, but first a programming note…

Countdown To Christmas Schedule Change—So, it was brought to my attention that my first Countdown To Christmas date is during Labor Day weekend.  Well shoot! I didn't realize that!  I certainly don't want to compete with the last big summer holiday weekend, so I'm changing the kick-off date to Saturday, September 12.  All of the rest of the dates will be the first Sunday of the month (Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6).

Rita's Sprinkles of Life Ice Cream Cone Card

What a fun & yummy card from Rita Berning!  She combined the images from the fantastic Sprinkles of Life stamp set to make a sweet treat focal point!

Background Basics—I can totally relate to the background that Rita stamped on this card!  Just yesterday, I was having a Mint Chocolate Chip cone and I was trying to avoid a similar pattern on my lap!  She stamped the ice cream drips with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Chocolate Chip. 

After wrapping a Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim ribbon around the 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla layer, she adhered it to a Tip Top Taupe card base.

Make A Difference—The Sprinkles of Life stamp set is this year's exclusive Ronald McDonald House Charities set!  For every set sold, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!  This has been a popular set so far, and I think it's because it's so versatile!  You can mix & match the two-step images to create not only an ice cream cone, but also a cupcake, a basket of flowers, a flowering tree, a regular tree, and clouds!  Such a fun, fun all-occasion set! 

Triple Dips—Rita stamped the cloud-shaped ice cream image in three different colors onto coordinating card stock to represent strawberry, chocolate and mint chocolate chip dips: Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip & Mint Macaron.  The shapes were cut out with the Tree Builder Punch. 

Ice Cream Cone—It looks like she stamped the cone image in Delightful Dijon onto So Saffron card stock, then hand-cut the shape.  All of the layers are popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Toppings—Rita gave each dip some Dazzling Diamonds glitter with the 2-Way Glue Pen, then added a cherry on top, stamped in Real Red onto Real Red card stock, and also punched with the Tree Builder Punch.  You definitely need to get the coordinating punch with this set!

Sweet Sentiment—Rita finished off her card with a lovely sentiment from the Project Life Remember This set.  It's stamped in Tip Top Taupe on Blushing Bride, fish-tailed on ends, and sponged with a little Blushing Bride ink.
