Winter frost frame miniHi Stamping Friends!

We had lots of fun at my Winter Frost Holiday Frame class over the weekend, and just as I suspected, everyone was impressed by how amazingly sparkly it is in person!   It's truly a gorgeous holiday keepsake and makes a beautiful gift!

I was surprised at how many stampers requested to make a red & green version of the Holiday Frame!  I was happy to oblige with a Season of Style Holiday Frame!  You know I love to do Two Cool versions of projects!  Teehee!

Season of style frame - with frame 

I copied the designs of the squares from the Winter Frost Holiday Frame, which I originally CASEd from Ronda Wade at Stamping With Ronda.  I used the color combination from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Baked Brown Sugar.  All the silver accents are the same.

Season of style frame - square 1 

Holly Jolly Square #1

  • 3" x 3" Cherry Cobbler card stock.
  • 1" x 2-3/4" piece of striped Season of Style DSP.
  • 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of polka dot Season of Style DSP.
  • 1/2" x 2-3/4" strip of Silver Foil.
  • Tags 4 You sentiment in Cherry Cobbler, punched with Label Bracket Punch.
  • 1-3/4" Circle Punch of Silver Glimmer Paper.
  • Rhinestone Jewels accents.

Season of style frame - square 2 

Plaid Snowflake Square #2

  • 3" x 3" Old Olive card stock.
  • 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of plaid Season of Style DSP.
  • 1/2" x 2-3/4" strip of Silver Glimmer Paper.
  • 1-3/4" Circle Punch of Baked Brown Sugar card stock.
  • Festive Flurry snowflake stamped in Old Olive, die-cut with Festive Flurry Framelits.
  • Frosted Finishes accent.

Season of style frame - square 3 

Retro Ornament Square #3

  • 3" x 3" Cherry Cobbler card stock.
  • 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of Whisper White card stock, embossed with Northern Flurry Folder.
  • Christmas Collectibles ornament colored with Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar and Old Olive markers, then punched with the Christmas Ornament Punch.
  • 1/8" Silver Ribbon for ornament hanger and bow tie.
  • Endless Wishes sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler onto Whisper White, die-cut with the Itty Bitty Banners Framelits.
  • Rhinestone Jewels accent.

Snowflake Soiree Square #4

  • 3" x 3" Old Olive card stock.
  • 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of Whisper White card stock, embossed with Pretty Print Folder.
  • Wrapped with Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.
  • Baked Brown Sugar card stock die-cut with Festive Flurry Framelits.
  • 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch of Silver Glimmer Paper.
  • Snowflake Soiree image stamped in Old Olive onto Whisper White and punched with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch.
  • Rhinestone Jewels accent.

Four Square Snowflake Soiree Square #5

  • 3" x 3" Baked Brown Sugar card stock.
  • Four 1-1/4" squares of different Season of Style DSP.
  • Cherry Cobbler card stock punched with Label Bracket Punch.
  • 1-3/8" Circle Punch of Silver Foil Paper.
  • Snowflake Soiree image stamped in Old Olive onto Whisper White and punched with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch.
  • Large Rhinestone Jewels accent.

Mosaic Madness Square #6

  • 3" x 3" Baked Brown Sugar card stock.
  • 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of Season of Style DSP.
  • Wrapped with Baked Brown Sugar Ruffle Stretch Trim.
  • Mosaic Madness image stamped in Smoky Slate, punched with Mosaic Punch.

All I Want Chevron Square #7

  • 3" x 3" Baked Brown Sugar card stock.
  • 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of chevron Season of Style DSP.
  • Wrapped in 3/8" White Taffeta Ribbon.
  • Old Olive card stock punched with 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.
  • Christmas Messages sentiment stamped in Cherry Cobbler, punched with 1-3/4" Circle Punch.
  • Rhinestone Jewels accents.

Joyful Tidings Square #8

  • 3" x 3" Cherry Cobbler card stock.
  • 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" Whisper White card stock.
  • Stamped at the top with Christmas Messages sentiment colored in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler.
  • 2-3/4" x 1-1/4" Whisper White strip, embossed with Delicate Designs Folder.
  • Wrapped in 1/8" Silver Ribbon.
  • Rhinestone Jewels accents.
  • Frosted Finishes accent.

Holiday Ornament Stripes Square #9

  • 3" x 3" Old Olive card stock.
  • 3/4" x 2-3/4" strip of striped Season of Style DSP.
  • Cherry Season of Style DSP die-cut with Holiday Ornaments Framelits.
  • Baked Brown Sugar card stock punched with 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch.
  • 3/8" White Taffeta Ribbon bow.
  • Frosted Finishes accent.

Season of style frame - 2 

On my second try, I made sure to only have one popped up layer, so it would mount better inside the frame.  I love how it turned out!

  1. It is a hard decision because I love them both. I am partial to the reds and greens at Christmas time so I would say Season of Style would be slightly ahead of the Winter Frost.

  2. Both are lovely and thank you for the detailed directions. I really like them both but I think the winter frost is so bright and sparkly. Thanks again for sharing. I feel I could try to make one as your directions are excellent
