Sending Lots of Happy Pretty Perennials Cards
The delightful images from the Pretty Perennials stamp set are perfect for creating gorgeous floral backgrounds! Pick out your favorite color combinations and experiment with all kinds of flower variations!
Happy Background Stamping—I started with a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock and several colors of blue for my first background. I stamped the larger Pretty Perennials flower a few times in Bermuda Bay and added in a flower center image with Bermuda Bay over the top. Next, I stamped the berries two-step image in Pacific Point and filled in the stems with Memento Tuxedo Black. I added the smaller flowers in Seaside Spray ink with leaves in Granny Apple Green. I finished up by filling in the empty spaces with the tiny dots image in Magenta Madness. TIP: Stamp the larger images first, then add in medium and fill in with the smallest images for best positioning.
Background Basics—I adhered a 5" x 1" piece of True Love Designer Series Paper across the background to give it a pop of black. Then, I layered the stamped background onto a 5-1/8" x 3-4/8" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock, then mounted it onto a Basic Black background. I finished by tying some Magenta Madness Twill Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Pretty Perennials "happy" in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a large Basic White Tasteful Labels die-cut. I added coordinating sentiments in Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point, then popped it up over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I added a few Rhinestone Jewels around the sentiment that I colored with a Dark Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends Marker for the perfect match.
Two Cool—For the second card, I stamped flowers in Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody and Magenta Madness, then added leaves in Granny Apple Green. I kept this background pretty simple and clean compared to the first one.
Background Basics—I selected another pattern of True Love DSP for the 3-3/4" x 1" strip, then mounted the background onto a Magenta Madness layer. It's wrapped with Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon.
Sweet Sentiment—The only thing different with the sentiment is the colors; this time in Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green.Finishing Touches—I colored these Rhinestone Jewels with Dark Magenta Madness for a pop of pink! Excellent!
