Sending Smile Single Flower Cards
There are so many awesome sentiments in the Sending Smiles stamp set! It covers all kinds of occasions, making it a must-have for your stamping collection. It also has sweet flower elements that combine to create pretty floral elements on your projects.
Background Basics—I started with a Flirty Flamingo vertically-folded card: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at the 5-1/2" mark. I added two different Sweet Sorbet patterns from the 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper pack to the front. The pieces measure 4" x 1" and are adhered with SEAL Adhesive. Then I added a 3/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I finished by tying some Sweet Sorbet Metallic Weave Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot.
Focal Poink—I stamped a Sending Smiles stem image in Parakeet Party ink onto a Basic White Stitched Rectangles die-cut. I added a Sweet Sorbet flower with a Flirty Flamingo flower center. I adhered this onto a 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock, then popped it up with Dimensionals. I added a few Champagne Rhinestones for a little sparkle.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Sending Smiles sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink onto a Basic White die-cut from the Sending Dies. Those two sizes of labels in the Sending Dies will fit all of the sentiments in the stamp set! The label is popped up with Mini Dimensionals.
Two Cool—My second version begins with an Orchid Oasis card base, Orchid Oasis DSP and a Parakeet Party strip. I tied Orchid Oasis Metallic Weave Ribbon around the card front.
Focal Point—This flower is stamped in Fresh Freesia with a Highland Heather center and a Parakeet Party stem. I layered it onto a piece of Starry Sky cardstock and accented it with Iridescent Rhinestones.
Sweet Sentiment—I chose a different greeting from Sending Smiles and stamped it in Fresh Freesia ink.
