Sent With Lots of Heart Cards As soon as I saw the Lots of Heart Bundle, I knew one of the first cards I would make with be a floating heart collage. So many hearts, so many patterns and textures and layering possibilities!
Background Basics—I started with a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock, layered onto a 4-7/8" x 3-5/8" piece of Sahara Sand cardstock. I mounted that onto a Rococo Rose card base, then added a 5-1/2" x 1" strip of Blushing Bride Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper along the bottom.
Floating Hearts—Next, I used the Many Hearts dies to cut out several hearts. First I cut a large heart with the Blushing Bride Love You Always Foil. I also die-cut a Petal Pink floral piece and adhered that onto the foil heart with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. In my video, I die-cut the floral from Blushing Bride cardstock to match the DSP and I think I like that one better. I stamped the Sahara Sand medium heart die-cut with the Lots of Heart dotted heart image in the same color ink. The small heart is die-cut from the Rococo Rose Foil. All hearts are popped up with Dimensionals for a fun, floating look. I also floated some Champagne Rhinestones around the hearts for additional sparkle and shine!Finishing Touches—I stamped a Lots of Heart sentiment in Rococo Rose ink onto a 3-1/4" x 5/8" piece of Basic White, banner cut the end and popped it up, as well! What a sweet card!
Two Cool—I just flipped the colors around a bit on the second version for a little bit different look. I started with a Petal Pink card base and Rococo Rose strip of Love You Always DSP.
Sweet Hearts—This time, I die-cut the large heart in Rococo Rose Love You Always Foil, topped with a Petal Pink floral die-cut. The small heart is in Blushing Bride foil and the sentiment is stamped in Rococo Rose onto Petal Pink cardstock. Did you notice that I mixed up the positioning of the collage a bit, too? It's so fun to experiment with different looks!
