Penguin Place Countdown To Christmas Bundle Add-On Update: The Penguin Builder Punch is now on backorder and is not expected to be available until November 1. You can currently still order it, but it could go onto the non-orderable list soon. As far as my Countdown To Christmas class, I have turned off the Add-On Bundle option for out-of-towners, because of the added cost to ship the backordered item separately. Local stampers may still purchase the backordered Bundle Add-On and pick it up when it's available. You are welcome to order the punch separately and have it shipped directly to you as soon as it's available. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It's always frustrating when popular items go on backorder, but it's out of our control, so we just have to find the best alternate solution. If you have ordered the Bundle Add-On kit before August 28, I anticipate having a punch in your kit.

Shaded Summer & Pretty Flowers Z-Fold Cards
The Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder coordinates beautifully with the Shaded Summer stamp set. I loved this card design so much that you'll get both color combinations in the LIVE Class Kit.
Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock, scored at the 2-1/8" and 4-1/4" marks. I accordion folded the card base in a "Z." The background of the card front is a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock embossing with that Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. I matted it onto a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Basic Black.
Next, I added a 3-1/2" x 1" piece of the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper, which is one of the Sale-a-Bration FREE selections for orders over $50. I tied some Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon around the layers before adhering them with Dimensionals onto the front card panel.
Fancy Floral—I stamped the Shaded Summer image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock. It's colored with Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Markers. I die-cut the floral image out with the help of the Summer Shadows Dies, another FREE item that can be selected from the Sale-a-Bration flyer with a $100 order. The flowers are popped up with more Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Shaded Summer greeting in Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock scrap and punched it out with the Double Oval Punch. It's popped up with Dimensionals, too.
Finishing Touches—I added a few silver Metallic Pearls floating around the flowers.
Inside The card—I stamped the other floral image from stamp set on the inside 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Basic White. It's colored similarly to the flowers on the front. I added another sentiment from the set, too.
Two Cool—For the second card, my Z-folded card base is in Misty Moonlight and the background embossed layer is in Balmy Blue.
Altered Ribbon—I didn't have any ribbon that coordinated with this color palette, so I used my Dark Stampin' Blends Marker to add color to the White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon. I love that I can use Blends Markers on this white ribbon to create any color I want…Too Cool!
Fab Floral—I colored the Shaded Summer floral image with Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Markers. I chose a different sentiment that fit perfectly in the scallop oval punched shape.
Inside—I stamped the floral image on the other side and colored it with the same Blends as on the front. So, so pretty…don't ya think?!
