Friend Like You Recessed Window Card
I'm excited to share my contribution to the 30-Project Tutorial…it's a little sneak peek of what is included! We were asked to create a project using only the items that came in the Gotta Have It All Bundle, plus any coordinating inks. The first of my two cool cards is the project that's included with the tutorial.
Background Basics—I started by die-cutting a 2 5/8” diameter oval window on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of pretty Share What You Love DSP using the Layering Circles Framelits. Next, I positioned the DSP over a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock layer and stamped the Love What You Do trio of flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink through the window. I stamped the flowers to the left as much as I could, then added the sentiment next to it, also in Memento Black ink.
I separated the two layers, then stamped the solid flower image in Crumb Cake ink over each of the blooms to create a background shadow. The stamped layer was adhered to a Rich Razzleberry card base.
Lovely Layers—I adhered a 4" x 3/4" strip of Old Olive cardstock across the bottom of the DSP. Then, I laid down a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive and attached a strip of the 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon on top, trimming the ends flush with the edges. I popped up the whole DSP window layer over the card front with lots of Dimensionals.
Flower Finishes—I stamped the trio of flowers again in Memento Black ink onto scrap Whisper White, then stamped the solid flower image over the top of each with Rich Razzleberry ink. After hand-cutting each flower with super-sharp Paper Snips, I popped those up with Dimensionals, too. I finished by adding a few Artisan Pearls around the blooms. I LOVE this popped up flower look!
Inside The Card—Don't forget to stamp some Love What You Do coordinating images inside the card!
Two Cool—My second card features a different pattern from the Share What You Love DSP pack. This time, the background solid flowers were stamped in returning Mint Macaron ink.
Background Basics—After the two layers were adhered together with Dimensionals, I tied some Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon around them into a double-knot faux-bow. It's all mounted onto a Tranquil Tide card base.
Finished Flowers—I colored the flowers with Tranquil Tide and Old Olive inks and a Blender Pen for a little color variation. I also added a little Wink of Stella for some shimmer. I love that there are mint colored accents in the new Artisan Pearls…they coordinate perfectly! A fun, stepped up version of the original card!

I think the mint macaroon Window card is the most striking. Really like it.
I too like your beautiful Share What You Love DSP with the mint macaroon and color combinations on the flowers. Really makes a great card Angie!
