Hi Stamping Friends!
In my Dragonfly Dreams class we explore lots of ways to use those dragonfly stamped images and die-cuts. There are all kinds of ways you can layer them and use them for different techniques! Today, I'm sharing another pair of cards from the class, featuring stamping with markers and layering with vellum! It's so pretty and so easy!

Shimmery Vellum Dragonfly Dreams Cards
Oooh! These lovely soft-color dragonflies have lots of shimmery goodness! You're going to LOVE this focal-point in real-life!

Background Basics—I started by stamping the dotted Dragonfly Dreams image in Mint Macaron ink along the lower half of a Mint Macaron card base. Next, I stamped the Dragonfly Dreams sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a 5-1/2" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. After the dragonfly is stamped (more about that below), this layer was matted onto 5-1/2" x 2-3/8" Basic Black card stock and adhered to the card front with SNAIL. I tied some Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine around it and tied into a double-knot.
Colorful Dragonfly Layer—Before adhering all the layers together, I stamped the dragonfly image. I used the solid, wings-only stamp and colored them directly on the photopolymer stamp with a Mint Macaron and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker. The colors blend fantastically and look great showing through the frosted transparency of the vellum!
Shimmery Dragonfly Layer—I die cut the intricate dragonfly from Vellum Card Stock using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits. I attached it to the card with a couple of Glue Dots, then brushed on some Wink of Stella clear glimmer! Oh.My.Gosh! You should see it shine! I love making those dragonfly wings look iridescent!
Finishing Touches—I finished off the dragonfly with some Pearl Jewels and added a few tiny ones on the other side of the sentiment, too!
Two Cool—The second card starts with a Sweet Sugarplum card base with dots stamped in the same color. I tried a different sentiment from the same set. I also added some Blushing Bride Baker's Twine around the card this time.
Colorful Wings Take Two—This time, I colored the wings stamp with Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum markers.
