The beautiful decorative corner image from the Elegantly Said stamp set isn't just for corners! With some creative positioning, you can create a fabulous decorative border down the whole side of the card.
Background Basics—I started by stamping the Elegantly Said decorative corner image several times along the edge of a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock in Bermuda Bay ink. It's layered onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Gray. I tied some gold cord from the Simply Elegant Trim Pack around the layers, then mounted them onto the Pool Party card base.
Terrific Tag—I stamped the Elegantly Said greeting in Basic Gray ink onto So Saffron cardstock, punched it with the Elegant Tag Punch and popped it up ovr the cord with Dimensionals. I finished up with a couple of Gilded Gems.
Two Cool—For my second version, I stamped with Calypso Coral onto the Basic White layer, and tied Pool Party Sheer Ribbon around the top layers. The card base is Bermuda Bay.
Too Cool Tag—I stamped the sentiment onto Coastal Cabana cardstock this time and added a couple of Champagne Rhinestones to the tag. So lovely!Shop Items To Make These Projects
