Hoot Hoot Hooray Cards
One of the exclusive stamp sets in the Experience Creativity Beginner Brochure is the adorable Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set. This cling mount style set has simple images with all-occasion sentiments that are perfect for quick & easy cardmaking.
The line images can be colored in with any medium, Stampin' Write Markers, Stampin' Blends Markers, Watercolor Pencils, or Blender Pens & Ink Pads.
The Experience Creativity Brochure features a cute set of Hoot Hoot Hooray watercolored note cards as one of their project bundles. Check it out here!
Today, I'm sharing four super-cute cards that can also be created with that set!
Hoot Hoot Hooray—This card begins with a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock decorated Pool Party Designer Series Paper from the Subtles Collection. The top and bottom gingham patterns measure 4-3/4" x 1-1/4" and the middle strip measures 4-3/4" x 1". It's popped up onto a Smoky Slate card base with Dimensionals.
Owl Focal Point—I inked just the owl part of the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut. It's colored and shaded with Stampin' Blends Markers in Smoky Slate, with a Flirty Flamingo beak and a Pool Party shadow underneath. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—After cleaning the stamp, I inked only the sentiment with Memento Black ink and stamped it onto a 2-1/4" x 1/2" strip of Whisper White. I attached it with a white Mini Library Clip to the background layer. I finished by attaching a White Baker's Twine bow to the clip with a Glue Dot.
Welcome Little One Background Basics—I stamped the stars in Early Espresso ink down the side of a Crumb Cake card base. Next, I layered a 3" x 4" piece of Blushing Bride DSP onto an 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" Early Espresso mat. I tied some White Baker's Twine around the layer before adhering it to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
Rocking Horse Focal Point—I stamped the rocking horse Hoot Hoot Hooray image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes oval, then colored it in with Stampin' Blends in Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Crumb Cake and Bronze. I popped up the oval with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I inked just the sentiment of the image with Memento Black and stamped it onto a 2-1/2" x 1/2" Whisper White strip, fishtail cut the end and attached it to the oval with a white Mini Library Clip.
Birthday Cupcakes Background Basics—I layered a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Highland Heather DSP across the bottom of a Highland Heather card base. Next, I added a Highland Heather Stitched Nested Labels die-cut for a focal point foundation.
Cup Cakes Focal Point—I stamped the cupcakes image in Memento Black onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes oval, then colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers in Highland Heather, Crumb Cake and Mango Melody. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the banner part of the image a second time onto Whisper White scrap, colored it in with Purple Posy Blends, hand cut it and popped it up with Dimensionals. I attached a silver Mini Library Clip and a White Twine bow to finish it.
Flower Background Basics—I embossed a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of So Saffron cardstock with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder. I also die-cut So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz DSP circles in different sizes using the Layering Circles dies. After adhering them with SNAIL, I tied some White Baker's Twine around the layer, then mounted it onto a So Saffron card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the flower image in Memento Black onto a third size of circle, this time in Whisper White. It's colored with the So Saffron and Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers, then popped up with Dimensionals.
