I like to make a whole stack of Thinking of You style cards to have on hand when I hear of my friends going through a difficult time. This card by BJ Peters is quick and pretty, so it's perfect!
Background Basics—BJ started by stamping the Good Morning, Magnolia stamp several times in Gray Granite ink onto the Gray Granite card base to create a pretty foundation for the focal point. She also added a 4-1/2" x 3/8" strip of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper across the center of the stamping for a pop of color.
Sweet Sentiment—Next, BJ stamped the Good Morning, Magnolia sentiment in Gray Granite ink onto Petal Pink cardstock and die-cut it with the Stitched Nested dies. It's adhered with SNAIL.
Fancy Flower—Finally, BJ stamped the Good Morning, Magnolia flower in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Whisper White cardstock and colored in with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Markers. It was die-cut with the Magnolia Memory dies and popped up with Dimensionals. DONE! I'm going to be making a stack of these, for sure!
Bundle It & SAVE—Purchase the Good Morning, Magnolia stamp set and Magnolia Memory dies together as a Bundle to save 10%!
If you're not into coloring, but love the Magnolia Lane products, this is another style of card that is sweet & simple for a stack of cards! Julie Davison created this pretty card!
Background Basics—Julie started by stamping the large Good Morning, Magnolia image in Petal Pink ink onto a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Petal Pink cardstock. Next, she added a 1" x 4-3/4" piece of Magnolia Lane DSP down the left side and a 1/4" x 4-3/4" strip of Basic Black for a contrasting border. The layer is mounted onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White, then adhered to a Mossy Meadow card base.
Sweet Sentiment—Julie finished the card by stamping the Good Morning, Magnolia sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto Whisper White cardstock. It's die-cut with the Layering Circles dies and layered onto the next largest die-cut circle in Mossy Meadow. The sentiment is popped up with Dimensionals. DONE! I think I'm going to make some of these for thank you cards for those who place an order with me.
Thanks to BJ Peters & Julie Davison for your awesome creative inspiration! Love your work!
