The beautiful Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper makes these cards so fabulous in person! These cards would be perfect to celebrate a milestone birthday, a golden anniversary, a wedding or any special event!
Background Basics—The first card begins with a Thick Basic White card base measuring 7-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at the 4-1/4" mark. The front panel is decorated with a lovely gold pattern of Simply Elegant DSP that measures 3" x 5-1/4". Another Basic Gray pattern of the DSP measuring 1" x 5-1/4" was adhered down the edge of the inside of the card.
Focal Point Background—I added a 3-1/2" x 1-3/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to the lower half of the card front. Next, I adhered a strip of Fine Art Trim, with it's beautiful coordinating gold accents, around the card front, securing the ends with SEAL adhesive under the focal point area.
Birthday Circle—I stamped the Elegantly Said sentiment in Crumb Cake ink onto a Basic White Layering Circles die-cut. The crumb cake ink coordinates beautifully with the gold accents! Next, I stamped the Elegantly Said flower image in Smoky Slate ink several times around the edge of the circle. The circle is layered onto a Gold Foil scalloped circle, also die-cut from the Layering Circles Dies. It's all popped up with Dimensionals.
I finished by adding a few silver Metallic Pearls next to the the focal point.
Two Cool—I focused on the copper accents for the second card. I selected another pretty pattern of Simply Elegant DSP for the front panel of this Smoky Slate card base. This time, the focal point is anchored with a Cinnamon Cider element, which complements copper perfectly! I added some white linen ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider with Smoky Slate flowers and popped it up onto a Copper Foil scalloped circle layer. I finished with the same silver Metallic Pearls! Absolutely stunning!
