I love the soft look of this card featuring the 2024 In Color Pretty In Pink, along with Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lolly. You can make this pretty card, too, when you earn a FREE Sketched Butterflies LIVE Class Kit with your $45 order by August 26.

I started with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Fresh Freesia card base, scored at the 4-1/4″ mark, then die-cut a Stylish Shapes circle on the top card front. TIP: Line up the card base and die between the cutting plates into the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, roll it in just enough to cut the circle, then back it out of the machine. If you run it all the way through, you run the risk of getting a crease line on the card base when the machine hits the end of the cutting plate.

Next, I embossed a 4-1/4″ x 2″ piece of Pretty In Pink cardstock with the Cute Crochet Embossing Folder and adhered it to the bottom of the card.

I finished by adding a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White on the inside of the card.

I stamped the medium size and mini butterflies images from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic White. Once dry, I colored the images with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The medium-sized butterfly has Pretty In Pink on the inner wings, then Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lolly on the tips. One of the small butterflies is Pretty In Pink with Lemon Lolly and the other is Pretty In Pink with Fresh Freesia.

I die-cut the medium butterfly with the Sketched Butterflies Dies, then used my Paper Snips to hand-cut the two small butterflies. Each is attached in the center of the butterfly with Glue Dots. The two full-facing butterflies have their wings bent upward, so they look like they are alighting on the paper. So cool!

I stamped the Sketched Butterflies greeting in Memento Black onto a Basic White Nested Essentials die-cut label. It’s popped up with Dimensionals.

I added a few of Iridescent Faceted Pearls next to the sentiment label, then finished by tying Iridescent Striped Trim ribbon around the card front. Optional: add some Wink of Stella glimmer to the butterflies for extra iridescence!
