Sneak Peak Card From NEW Fancy & Fabulous Floral Boutique Class!

Hi Stamping Friends!

Today I'm finishing up the details on a brand new class featuring the beautiful Floral Boutique suite of products from the Annual Catalog (p76-77). White Floral Details Intricate Overlay Card

My Fancy & Fabulous Floral Boutique Class features several cards that use the Floral Details Thinlits to create stunning, intricately cut die-cuts! This first sneak peek card highlights a little bit of everything from the Floral Boutique suite.

Die-Cutting Basics—I started by die-cutting a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock with the larger Floral Details Thinlit.

This is a two-step die-cut process. First, line up the larger thinlit along the bottom of the layer, then run that through. This die cuts the peek-thru design, but leaves a straight edge. To make the fancy outline border, run it through the Big Shot a second time using the coordinating edgelit.

Intricate Die-Cutting TIPs: For best results, you'll want to use the new Big Shot Platform for extra pressure, the Precision Base Plate for great cuts, and the Die Brush roller to help remove all those tiny pieces from the die and die-cut.

Background Basics—I wrapped some Floral Boutique Washi Tape around the white layer immediately above the cuts, then adhered a 3-3/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper above that. It's adhered to the vertically cut card base (11" x 4-1/4", scored at 5-1/2") with SNAIL adhesive under the top panel. The die-cut portion hangs free.

Sweet Sentiment & Finishing Touches—I stamped the Floral Phrases greeting onto Whisper White with Night of Navy ink, then die cut it with the Stitched Shapes oval framelit. It's popped up with Dimensionals. I finished it off with a Night of Navy Baker's Twine bow, attached with a Glue Dot, and a single Rhinestone Jewel.

Inside The Card—I stamped the "thanks" sentence on the inside and finished off the bottom edge with washi tape.

Two Cool—I've designed all of the cards in this class so that you can use either the coordinating Floral Phrases stamp set or other sentiments you may already have. My second card shows a greeting from the Rose Wonder stamp set as a substitute sentiment.
