Sneak Peek: Changing Leaves Card!

Use Host Code HJ94YPAX For Changing Leaves Class!

Finally! I’ve been trying to schedule a Changing Leaves Class and every time I do, the Changing Leaves Hybrid Dies sell out. I’m excited to tell you that they are back in stock…for now! Please, do not wait if you want this bundle. It’s an Online Exclusive item, which means it is “while supplies last” and it “could” be gone for the good the next time it sells out.

I’ll be sharing cards created with the cool Changing Leaves Hybrid Bundle, which includes stamps, dies and hybrid embossing folder. I’ve paired the awesome textured leaf elements with the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper to create elegant cards with a pop of gold.

I’m having so much fun pairing the Changing Leaves Hybrid Bundle with the gold patterns from the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper. This DSP is a carryover from last year’s Annual Catalog and it’s leafy elements perfectly complement the Changing Leaves images.

I pulled together lots of natural, neutral tones for this elegant card. Join me on Friday on my Facebook page to watch me create it!

I started by embossing a 4-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the cool new Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the bottom of a Pecan Pie card base.

Next, I adhered a 3″ x 4″ piece of Nature’s Sweetness DSP to a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ layer of Basic White. I wrapped some Linen Thread around it twice and tied it into a knot before mounting the layers onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

I kept the focal point sweet and simple, stamping the Changing Leaves large leaf image in Pecan Pie onto Basic White. It’s die-cut with the coordinating Changing Leaves die and popped up with Dimensionals.

I stamped the Changing Leaves sentiment in Pecan Pie ink onto a Basic Beige Changing Leaves circle die-cut. (My photo above mistakenly used the Stylish Shapes circle.) I popped that with more Dimensionals.

I added some sparkle with the Iridescent Foil Gems next to the sentiment circle. Perfect!
