Snow Front Wrapped In Plaid Card

Front Flap—The front flap of the card is decorated with a 2" x 4" piece of Wrapped In Plaid DSP.  For the focal point foundation, she popped up a 4-1/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Shaded Spruce and added a 4-1/4" x 1/4" strip of Gold Foil across the bottom. 

Sparkly Accents—Susie used the NEW Ice Stampin' Glitter to add sparkly details to this snow scene. She lightly covered the snow bank with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and dabbed on a few dots over the top of the scene for falling snow flakes.  Then, she covered the piece in Ice Stampin' Glitter and tapped off the excess.  When it was dry, she layered the piece onto a 3-3/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Cherry Cobbler and added it to the card front.

Sweet Sentiment—The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, filled with all kinds of small holiday greetings.  It's a must-have for your stamp collection!  It's stamped in Shaded Spruce onto a 1/2" x 2-3/4" strip of Very Vanilla and popped up with Dimensionals.  

Snow Front with Puffed & Sparkly Accents

As if the Ice Glitter wasn't enough to create a cool & sparkly snow scene, LeeAnn Greff added the NEW Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to this swap card for extra textured fun!

Background Basics—LeeAnn started by embossing a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Folder and adhering it to a Thick Whisper White card base.  She added a 5-1/4" x 1" strip of Shaded Spruce across the lower half to anchor the focal point.

 

Focal Point—The 4" x 3" Whisper White layer is stamped with the two Snow Front hill images in Shaded Spruce, just like Susie's card above. She also added in some pine trees of various sizes, some stamped off for depth.  I especially love the mountains that LeeAnn created with the mountain image in Smoky Slate. Looks like she inked only one time, then stamped four times in different places to create a whole line of mountain peaks.  It's a beautiful effect!

 

Snowy Accents—LeeAnn added on some of the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the snow banks. It's easy to create this snowy effect!  Simply apply the paint in a variety of thicknesses, heat with the Heat Tool and watch the paint "puff" into a 3D sandy texture!  LeeAnn added some Ice Stampin' Glitter over the top and as snowflakes over the entire scene, just like Susie did on her card above. She matted the stamped layer onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Shaded Spruce and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.

 

Sweet Sentiment—LeeAnn also used the same Itty Bitty Christmas sentiment, inked in Shaded Spruce onto a 5/8" x 2-3/4" piece of Whisper White. She fishtail cut the one end and popped it up with Dimensionals flush with the left side of the background. Love it!
