Snowflake Sentiment Falling Snowflakes Cards

Christmas cards don't have have to be complicated to be cute!  I love a card style that comes together quickly, yet has that "Too Cool" factor!  These cards are certainly an example of that…all with the help of those beautiful, laser-cut, Foil Snowflakes!

CASEd from Ronda Wade at Stamp With Ronda.

Snowflake Background—I stamped the Snowflake Sentiments snowflake images diagonally across a 3-3/4" x 5" layer of Whisper White.  I started by stamping the larger snowflake in Pool Party, then added the smaller images in Smoky Slate. I mounted the stamped background onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Pool Party mat.

Ribbon—I wrapped the Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon around the background layers and tied it into a double-knot faux bow.  I adhered the layer to a Basic Gray card base.

Sentiment & Finishing Touches—I stamped the Snowflake Sentiments greeting in Bermuda Bay onto Whisper White card stock, then die-cut it with the Layering Circle Framelits.  It's adhered to a silver Foil Snowflake with SNAIL, then popped up over the ribbon with Dimensionals.  I finished the focal point with a few Rhinestone Jewels accents.

Wow!  That card comes together in just a few minutes!  FAST!

Two Cool—For the second version, I tried a horizontal orientation with purples!  The background was stamped with Sweet Sugarplum & Smoky Slate ink this time, and it was mounted onto a Rich Razzleberry mat.

The sentiment was stamped in Rich Razzleberry!  I love this card in either direction and I definitely plan to make lots more of this easily duplicatible card!  What do you think?
