Happiness Surrounds Hello Friend Cards
Background Basics—I started with a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock that I embossed with the Simple Stripes Folder. I layered it onto a 3-3/4" x 5 piece of Silver Foil. Before mounting onto a Thick Whisper White cardstock base, I tied some Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon around the layers and tied it into a double-knot.
Floral Medallion—I stamped the Happiness Surrounds large floral medallion in VersaMark ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then heat embossed with Silver Embossing powder. It's die-cut with the Layering Circles Framelits, then adhered to the card front. Next, I stamped the striped flower image in Highland Heather ink and the small flower in Soft Sea Foam onto Whisper White and cut them with the coordinating Snowfall images. The striped flower is popped up with Dimensionals and the small flower is adhered with SNAIL. I finished with a Rhinestone Jewel in the center.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Happiness Surrounds greeting in Highland Heather ink onto a 1-1/2" x 1/2" piece of Whisper White, then fishtail cut the end. It's popped up with Dimensionals. So simple and cheerful for a winter "thinking of you" card!
Two Cool—I started the second version with a Gorgeous Grape card base and Balmy Blue Simple Stripes background.
Marvelous Medallion—My color combination looks a little more wintery on this one, so this one looks more like a snowflake. I changed the small flower to Balmy Blue, but everything else is the same.
Sweet Sentiment—I made this one an encouragement card, but the color combination looks more wintery, so it would also make a great Christmas card!
