In this LIVE Class, I share how to make 5 cards featuring the Snowy Wonder Bundle and Snowy Scenes DSP. This adorable bundle has whimsical characters and images to make adorable holiday scenes. The dies include two sizes of spherical shapes and a base, so you can capture your snowy scene to look like it’s part of a sweet snow globe. Add the cute DSP for a lovely coordinated background, or cut out the pre-printed snow globes for an instant, cool focal point. The suite is rounded out with fun Pool Party 5/8” Pompom Ribbon and White Loose Snowflakes. Other fun coordinating products include Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints, Forever Plaid Embossing Folder and Real Red & White Baker’s Twine.

The Snowy Wonder Bundle includes dies to create two sizes of snow globes. I used the larger one to create this cute little penguin snow scene.

I started with a 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of striped Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper adhered to a Pool Party card base. Next, I embossed a 3-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock with the So Swirly Embossing Folder and matted it onto a 3-7/8″ x 4-3/8″ piece of Poppy Parade cardstock. It’s mounted onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

I die-cut two large Snowy Wonder snow globes; one in Pool Party and one in Basic White. I stamped the Pool Party one with the Falling Snow background stamp in Pool Party ink. On the video, I showed how to use the snowflake and dotted images from the Snowy Wonder stamp set to create the snowy sky without having to get the extra stamp set.

Next, I used my Paper Snips to cut the bottom of the Basic White globe to create a snowy landscape. Then, I stamped the Snowy Wonder sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the lower left side and adhered it to the Pool Party globe. It’s adhered to the card front with SEAL.

I die-cut a Crumb Cake Snowy Wonder globe base, which will fit either size globe, embossed it with the Timber Embossing Folder and mounted it under the globe.

The focal point of my snowy scene is the penguin, hand-cut directly from the Snowy Scenes DSP. The plain penguins from that DSP pattern, the ones without hats or scarves, can be die-cut with the Snowy Wonder dies. I popped up that cute little guy with Dimensionals.

I stamped two trees from the Snowy Wonder set in Garden Green onto Basic White, then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. the smaller one is attached with SEAL and the larger one is popped up.

I added several of the White Loose Snowflakes all over the Pool Party sky with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and finished with a Garden Green Natural Tones Linen Thread bow attached with a Glue Dot. Just adorable!
