Adorable So Hoppy Together Cards

Background Basics—I started by embossing a 4-1/4" x 2" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock with the new Dot To Dot Texture Impressions Folder. I adhered it with SNAIL and a couple of strips of Tear & Tape to keep it securely in place on the Soft Sea Foam card base. My color palette came from the 1" x 5" strip of Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper, adhered to the left side.

Froggy Focal Point—I stamped the So Hoppy Together frog in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Whisper White 2-5/8" square die-cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I added a butterfly and sentiment, then colored in the images with Stampin' Write Markers. The frog is colored with Soft Sea Foam and Granny Apple Green. The butterfly is colored with Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam. The layer is mounted onto a 2-3/4" square of Shaded Spruce cardstock and popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.

Finishing Touches—I added some shimmer on the frog's spots and the butterfly with Wink of Stella clear glitter brush. I finished by adding a single Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequin near the sentiment.

Two Cool—The second version features the de-bossed Dot To Dot pattern on a Soft Sea Foam panel and a Granny Apply Green card base.

Fantastic Frog—This time, I stamped the unicycle frog image onto a Whisper White Rectangle Stitched Framelits die-cut and layered it onto a 2-3/8" x 3-3/4" piece of Shaded Spruce. The frog is colored with Granny Apple Green & Soft Sea Foam and the unicycle is colored with Basic Gray, Shaded Spruce and Flirty Flamingo. I added Wink of Stella shimmer to the frog, gear and tire…and the Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins! That's right! I gave the sequins a sparkle, too! Did you know you can add Wink of Stella to embellishments? Too Cool!
