So Sentimental Double-Sided DSP Cards

Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper is perfect for these double-sided card front cards! It allows you to showcase both sides of your favorite beautiful papers! It's also a super-quick card that simply needs a sentiment and a few accents…DONE!

Card Base Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 5-3/4" Mossy Meadow card base, scored along the 5-3/4" side at the 1-1/2" mark. Next, I cut a 4" x 5-1/2" piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper for the rest of the card front. If you cut it to 4" wide, you can get 6 card fronts from a 12" x 12" piece of DSP! I added a 4-1/4" x 1" piece of coordinating Bird Ballad DSP across the bottom as a foundation for the sentiment focal point.

Decorating The Panels—I added Tear & Tape to the inside edges of the Mossy Meadow card base and the DSP. Be sure to line up the right side of the DSP flush with the edge of the card when it is closed. Enjoy the backside of the DSP as part of the inside card décor!

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the So Sentimental greeting in Mossy Meadow ink onto a small Whisper White Stitched So Sweetly die-cut. I also die-cut a Calypso Coral label from the same dies and popped up the sentiment on that before mounting the layers onto the card front with SNAIL.

Finishing Touches—I tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the card front, then added a couple of Old Olive gems from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.

Two Cool—I tried a second version using the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper. It's the same layout, with the only difference that I added a 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" Come Sail Away DSP strip along the left card base flap.

Focal Point—I stamped the same sentiment in Night of Navy ink and layered it onto a Soft Suede So Sentimental label. This time I Night of Navy gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack and attached a Denim Ribbon knot with a Glue Dot.
