So Sentimental Pull-Up Gift Card Holders

If you're looking for a quick and cool way to give a gift card for a special occasion, this card style is perfect! It also is a great way to spotlight our beautiful coordinating Designer Series Papers!

You'll be able to create both of these cards in your LIVE Class Kit!

So Sentimental Happiness Gift Card Holder - parisian 1

Card Base—I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" Pool Party card base, scored at the 3-1/4" and 8-3/4" marks. I decorated the top flap with a 4" x 3" piece of Parisian Blossoms DSP and the bottom flap with a 4" x 2" piece. I love the gorgeous Champagne Foil accents in both of these coordinating paper patterns! Next, I tied the bottom flap closed…yes all the way around the card…with the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon.

Sweet Sentiment—I wanted to keep this card simple, so I stamped a So Sentimental greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White and die-cut it with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. It's popped up with Dimensionals and accented with Champagne Rhinestones.

Pull-Up Gift Card—When you open the card, the gift card pocket pulls up to reveal the message on the pocket front. I love this simple & fun, moving mechanism! To make it, take a 3-3/4" x 7" piece of Whisper White cardstock and score it at the 1/2" and 5" marks. Fold it in a Z-Fold, then attach the 1/2" tab to the top inside flap, just above the score line.

You can see how the tab is affixed on this side view a little better. The bottom pocket doesn't have any adhesive, it simply tucks into the tied pocket, allowing it to move freely as the card is opened and closed. Too Cool!

Two Cool—The second version features the pretty Magnolia Lane papers and a Mossy Meadow card base. I tied the bottom pocket with the Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon.
