So Sentimental Thanks Double Z-Fold Cards

My LIVE Class featured several cards with fun folds, all featuring our beautiful double-sided Designer Series Papers! I shared four different styles of card and I especially love this cool double z-fold cards. If you've never made one, you'll be surprised at how quick and easy it comes together using your favorite coordinating DSP patterns!

You'll be able to create both of these cards in your LIVE Class Kit!

So Sentimental Thanks Double Z Fold - navy

Card Base—This card style has a two-part base that fold and attach to create kind of a pop-up z-fold. It starts with a traditional size Night of Navy card base measuring 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4". I folded back the short front panel to create the first z-fold. The Whisper White piece measures 6-3/4" x 3-3/4" and is scored at the 2-1/4" and 4-1/2" marks.

Assembling The Z-Folds—I decorated the inside back of the card base with a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Perennial Essence Designer Series paper, then added two 2" x 3-1/2" pieces of coordinating DSP to the first two panels of the white base. To attach, I added Tear & Tape behind the blank white panel, folded the panels on top of it and positioned it in the center of the inside back DSP layer. Next, I added a couple strips of Tear & Tape to the outer back half of the first panel and attached it to the front. Be sure to check out the video to see an easy way you can attach the panel, so it's lined up perfectly.

Sweet Sentiment—I created a Whisper White die-cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and stamped a So Sentimental greeting on it with Blueberry Bushel, one of the retiring In Colors. It's popped up onto a second Night of Navy layer die-cut with the same dies and adhered to the front panel with SNAIL.

Finishing Touches—I finished by adding a Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon bow under the sentiment with a Glue Dot. I colored some Basic Rhinestones with a Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Marker to get some custom pink rhinestones.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment in Rococo Rose this time and layered it onto a Seaside Spray label.

Finishing Touches—This card is decorated with a Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon bow and Rhinestones that are colored with a Dark Rococo Rose Blends Marker.
