Spotlight on Nature Class Sneak Peek!

Use Host Code FCEWRQTC For Spotlight On Nature Class!

I hope you can join me at my next LIVE Class coming up tomorrow, Friday, September 13, 2024 at 7pm ET on my Too Cool Stamping Facebook Page.

There’s been a bit of confusion because yesterday I had advertised that I would be doing a class featuring the Changing Leaves Bundle. The dies from the bundle were supposed to be back in stock this week, but late yesterday it was changed to the week of September 23. So, I decided to move up my Spotlight On Nature class for this week and I’ll reschedule my Changing Leaves class for when that cool hybrid dies/embossing folder is available once again.

I apologize for the confusion. I currently have Host Codes for both classes, so you can still order to earn the Changing Leaves option. Choose either class for FREE with a minimum $45 order using one of the following Host Codes:
Changing Leaves Class = Host Code HJ94YPAX
Spotlight on Nature Class = Host Code FCEWRQTC

Today, I’m sharing a sneak peek of one of the Spotlight on Nature LIVE Class cards!

I’ll be sharing the Spotlight on Nature Bundle with those cool, nested circle dies and lots of Stampin’ Blends coloring. I had previous advertised the Changing Leaves Class, but that is being rescheduled for a later date because the Changing Leaves Hybrid Dies are currently unavailable. You can still order to receive a free Changing Leaves 5-Card class kit with Host Code HJ94YPAX.

Here’s a little sneak peek of one of the class cards that I’ll be sharing during tomorrow’s class! I had so much fun designing with this Spotlight on Nature Bundle! The pretty sketched images are just so sweet and so fun to color with Stampin’ Blends Markers. But my absolute favorite part of the bundle has to be the super-cool nesting circle dies with lovely decorative borders. Even if you skip the stamp set, you’ll definitely want to purchase this instant-classic die set for your collection!

I started by embossing a 2-1/2″ x 5″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder and mounting it onto the right side of a Basic Beige card base. Next, I cut a 1-3/4″ x 4-1/2″ pattern from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper and adhered that on the left side of the card front, slightly overlapping the textured panel.

I die-cut a Basic White large decorative circle with the Spotlight On Nature Dies, then used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp both the floral and butterfly images from Spotlight On Nature on the die-cut.

Next, I used Stampin’ Blends Markers to add color to the images. I colored the leaves and stems with Light Old Olive. The flowers were colored with Peach Pie with shading in Flirty Flamingo. The butterfly was colored with Peach Pie inside wings, with outer wings in Flirty Flamingo and Petunia Pop shading. The circle is popped up with Dimensionals.

I die-cut a Basic White small matching decorative circle with the Spotlight On Nature Dies, then stamped the Spotlight On Nature sentiment on it in Memento Black ink. I popped up that circle, as well.

I added a couple of Peach Pie Shimmer Gems near the sentiment. I also brushed on Wink of Stella Clear over all of the images to make them extra-sparkly! Oooh la la!

You’ll see four more Spotlight On Nature cards during tomorrow’s class!
