I always have fun coloring with Stampin’ Blends Markers and I especially loved mixing and blending different colors on my Spotlight On Nature class cards. This card will look great with any blues and purples that you have, so I encourage you to experiment and discover fun new color combos for yourself!

I started by adhering a 5-1/4″ x 1-3/4″ piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the bottom part of a Night of Navy card base. Next, I embossed a 5-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Misty Moonlight with the Eyelet Embossing Folder and adhered that to the top of the card front. I love the Eyelet texture paired with the “petal” decorative border on the Spotlight on Nature die-cut circles. Nice coordination!

I added a 5-1/2″ x 1/2″ strip of Highland Heather across that middle of the card to cover the seam. Then, I die-cut a large Night of Navy Spotlight On Nature circle with the lined textured decorative edge as the backdrop for the focal point.

I die-cut a Basic White large decorative circle with the Spotlight On Nature Dies, then used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the sentiment first for positioning. I stamped the floral image next, also in Memento Black ink, and colored the image with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Light Mossy Meadow on the leaves. For the blooms, I started by coloring the whole flower with Light Fresh Freesia, added some Dark Fresh Freesia, then added some Light Boho Blue and finally added a hint of Dark Boho Blue along the bottom. I popped up the circle with Dimensionals.

TIP: Allow the stamped image to completely dry before adding marker coloring to prevent bleeding.

I stamped the Spotlight On Nature butterfly image in Memento Black ink onto Basic White, then colored it in with Light Boho Blue and Light Night of Navy. I hand-cut the butterfly using my super-sharp Paper Snips, then used Dimensionals and SEAL Adhesive to add to the top of the circle.

I added a couple of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems near the butterfly and brushed on Wink of Stella Clear over all of the images for some sparkly goodness!
