Spring Is Blossoming Offset Gate Fold Card

I had fun making the gate fold card yesterday, so I thought I'd do a little different version today, still using the Spring Is Blossoming promotion items: Four Frames and Paisley Petals DSP.  See how you can purchase these sneak peek items, or receive them FREE: details here.

I find all kinds of fabulous project ideas on the exclusive Stampin' Up! demonstrator gallery called Stampin' Connection and that's where I found this beautiful card idea.  I CASEd it from fellow demonstrator Jessica Brigden.

I love the offset gate fold on this card.  It's easy to create: use a 4-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece, and score at 2" and 3-1/2" along the long side.

The wonderful coordinating patterns from the Paisley Petals DSP do most of the work for you on this quick & easy card (just like yesterday's Four Frames card)!  I simply added one of the Four Frames images with my "heartfelt" sentiment from Fundamental Phrases and it was nearly complete.

For a little glitz, I used the 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds on my stamped and colored flowers.  The sparkle really helps the sentiment stand out!

Of course, I had to do "Two Cool" cards…

This one has the same basic design, but I really glitzed it up with Dazzling Diamonds!  I outlined all of the colorful parts of the Designer Paper on the center panel, so it's very, very sparkly!  Bling-o-rama!
