Hi Stamping Friends!
Did you see the announcement yesterday? There are 14 more Sale-a-Bration options now available through the end of the month. You can check out all the details on this 3rd Release Sale-a-Bration Flyer PDF.
Today, I'm sharing a couple of Too Cool Team swap cards featuring the gorgeous Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Papers from the 2nd Sale-a-Bration Release. I can't get enough of those elegant foil sheets! Both cards feature a little bit of fussy-cutting, which takes a little extra work, but it's so beautiful when it's done!
Peggy's Springtime Foils Celebrate Card
Peggy Tassler colored and cut a Springtime Foils flower as an elegant focal point on her "celebrate" card.
Background Basics—Peggy's card begins with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the dotted pattern from Springtime Foils adhered to a Sweet Sugarplum card base. Then, she created a foundation for the pretty bloom by adhering a 3-1/8" x 1/2" strip of Old Olive and a 2-3/4" x 1/2" strip of Copper Foil. She layered a 2-3/8" Sweet Sugarplum circle, cut with the Layering Circles Framelits, and adhered it over the strips.
Beautiful Blended Bloom—Peggy colored the Springtime Foils flower with the light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Marker, which is very similar to Sweet Sugarplum ink. She also colored the leaves with Old Olive Blends. The image is fussy-cut with super-sharp Paper Snips and popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the Amazing You greeting in VersaMark ink onto a 2-1/4" x 7/8" piece of the dotted Springtime Foils DSP, then heat embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder. It's layered onto a 2-3/8" x 1" piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock. So, so pretty and versatile, too! It can be given for a birthday, wedding, anniversary or other special occasion.

Marsha's Springtime Foils You Are Loved Card
Marsha Henry also did a little fussy-cutting with the Springtime Foils DSP on her swap card. She hand-cut several blooms and leaves for a whole bouquet of blooms! Wow!
Background Basket Basics—Marsha started by adhering a 5-1/4" x 4" Very Vanilla background layer onto a Very Vanilla card base. She inked up the Basket Weave Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder with Soft Suede ink, then laid a 4" x 4" square of Very Vanilla cardstock inside the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. I love how the ink brings out the details of the weave pattern. She cut the square in half diagonally, then wrapped some retired Blushing Bride Stitched Satin Ribbon along the diagonal. The ends are secured around the back with Tear & Tape, then the layer is adhered to the card front with more Tear & Tape, leaving the diagonal edge open to tuck in the flowers later.
Beautiful Bouquet—Marsha colored the Springtime Foils flowers with Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends Markers and the leaves with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers. They were all hand-cut with super-sharp Paper Snips and adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Glue. BEAUTIFUL!
Sweet Sentiment—Marsha stamped the Blossoming Basket sentiment in VersaMark onto a 2-5/8" x 3/4" piece of Very Vanilla. It's heat-embossed with Copper Embossing Powder, layered onto a 2-7/8" x 1" layer of Soft Suede, then popped up with Dimensionals.
