Peaceful Star of Light Cards
The first design from the Star of Light class kit showcases one of the die-cuts in shiny Silver Foil combined with rich & regal Night of Navy & Bermuda Bay colors. We'll be creating 6 each of this design in the class.
Background Basics—I started with a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Whisper White and stamped the Star of Light Swoosh at an angle near the top in Night of Navy ink. I matted it on a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Bermuda Bay and mounted it on a Night of Navy card base.
Shiny Star—I used the coordinating Starlight Thinlits to die cut a solid Bermuda Bay foundation for the star, then cut the intricate Starlight shape from Silver Foil. They are adhered together with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen and popped up with Dimensionals. I added a small Night of Navy die-cut shape to the center with a Glue Dot, then topped it off with a Rhinestone Jewel.
I added a few Fancy Frost Sequins around the star with more Glue Dots.
Sweet Sentiment—This stamp set has some very lovely Christmas phrases, and I stamped this one in Night of Navy along the bottom.
Inside—I added another swoosh and finished out my phrase from the front. The star is stamped in Bernuda Bay.
Buy The Bundle & SAVE! Purchase the Star of Light stamp set and Starlight Thinlits together in as a Bundle and save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately!
Two Cool—I used the same elements to create a horizontal version. This time I selected a different Star of Light phrase that I thought worked really well with the horizontal layout.
So shiny & eye-catching in real-life!
