Statement of My Heart Shadow Boxes
I'm so proud to be part of the Stampin' Up! family! Ever since I joined the company in 2003, the same year that Stampin' Up! began their Make A Difference Program, I've always felt like they have lived up to their mission statement called Statement of the Heart:
"To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments … in this we make a difference."

Peggy Tassler created these awesome shadow box keepsakes for our Too Cool team members at our May gathering. They will look so amazing on display in everyone's stamp room!

Shadow Box Basics—The frames were created with a piece of cardstock that measures 8-1/4" x 9-1/2", in this case, Blackberry Bliss was used. It's not as difficult to assemble the frame as you might think, it's just a lot of scoring, creasing with a Bone Folder and a little bit of cutting. Once scored, folded and trimmed, each of the sizes "rolls" up and its all held together with a few dots of Multipurpose Glue.
Inside The Frame—The inside of the frame is decorated with a 4-1/2" x 3-1/8" piece of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. Next, the Statement of My Heart image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut with a 3-1/4" wide Stitched Shapes Framelits oval. It's popped up onto a 3-1/2" diameter scallop oval Grapefruit Grove die-cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits.
The oval is mounted onto the center of the frame with more Dimensionals. The heart was colored in with a Blackberry Bliss marker and adorned with a couple of Basic Pearl Jewels.
Two Cool—The Mint Macaron version is decorated with the pretty, colorful spring flower patter from Share What You Love DSP. The scallop mat is in Tranquil Tide cardstock.
Three Cool—This third version has a Rich Razzleberry frame and it's adorned with the beautiful pearlized floral pattern from Share What You Love DSP. The scallop oval is Mossy Meadow cardstock.
Four Cool—The last version has a Tranquil Tide frame with another pearlized Share What You Love DSP inside. The statement is layered onto a Mint Macaron scallop oval this time.
