So, how big is YOUR new catalog wishlist? My is pretty extensive, as usual! There are so many awesome new products is hard to decide what I "need" to get now, and what I can order later. I had to go through my list several times, but I finally came up with the must-haves that simply couldn't wait!
Disclaimer: You don't expect me to really only have 10, right?! I had to group items that I wouldn't want to use without each other. In no particular order…
My Top 10 Too Cool New Products
1. Firm-Foam Ink Pads—I love, love, LOVE the new ink pads and you will, too! I promise! I debated about whether to replace every color of ink pad for about 3 seconds.
No warping. No fraying edges. No tapping, tapping, tapping the stamp all around the ink pad to get even coverage. 2. Floral Frames Framelits & Daydream Medallions Stamps—OK, I can tell right now that, like Textured Impressions Folders, I'm gonna love every stinkin' framelit ever made! Floral Frames is especially pretty with the gorgeous designs in the Daydream Medallions set.
3. Every New Textured Impressions Folder—As mentioned above, I pretty much have to get every folder made. Now, I'm loving the new Chevron Folder and Argyle Folder for masculine cards! Plus, the Fancy Fan Folder goes perfectly with lots of the new stamp images and patterns of paper.
And, let's not forget about the beautiful Delicate Designs Folders for elegant, lacy-embossed borders that match all the trendy doily designs! Love them all! (See how I cheated big time on this one! Can't be helped.)
4. Elegant Butterfly Punch & Papallon Potpouri—A good coordinating stamp and punch usually becomes a quick favorite, and this butterfly duo is a perfect example! What an improvement over the old, plain butterfly shape! The elegant wings will provide pretty accents to floral, frilly and vintage cards alike. I can't wait to pair some punched Elegant Butterflies with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit textured die-cuts in coordinating colors. Fun fluttering possibilities!
5. Stampin' Trimmer—Stampin' Up! has combined all the best features into this personal paper trimmer! It cuts and scores a full 12" sheet in either direction, and without ever having to remove or switch the two styles of blades! They stay on the track! The large 6-1/4" base extends to 14-1/2" to easily accomodate scrapbook pages! Plus, there is convenient storage underneath for your extra blades and scoring stylus!

6. Stampin' Spritzer—It's just a little thing, but it will be so useful! You know how I like to mix Champagne Shimmer Paint with rubbing alcohol for a spritz mix? Well, now we have the mini spritzers that spray a fine mist of that mixture and more! It will be fun to experiment with misting Refill Ink and masking techniques! At only $2.95 for two, they are the perfect price to stock up for several colors!
7. Comfort Café Designer Series Paper & Natural Composition Specialty Paper—I'm liking the selection of Designer Series Papers much more than in the past, because they seem to have more smaller patterns and more multicolored sheets. I love the sheets with three or more colors that I wouldn't think to put together…it creates my project's color palette! Comfort Café, with it's Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze, Pool Party and Soft Suede colors stole my creative heart quickly this year and has become my instant fave!
Then, there is the very interesting Natural Composition Specialty Paper. Hmmm. It's a heavy-weight natural paper with glossy, raised patterns. Not sure about this one yet, but it may be fun for some emboss resist techniques. We'll see once I get it in my hands.
8. Fun New Embellishments—Cheating again, because I can't list just one of the three new accents! My favorite is the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons that are reminiscent of old door knob pulls. They appear to be similar to the retired Beveled Window Panes, only smaller, rounder, and cooler!
Naturals Designer Buttons have the trendy look of pine and mahoghany woods. I bet they would look amazing with the new Naturals Specialty Paper!
Next, is the new In Color Dahlias which Stampin' Up! describes as "bright little wonders!" I've heard that they are made of resin, but I'm not sure since I don't have them in my hand. Curious. Looking forward to seeing what they are all about!
9. New Stitched Ribbons—Both the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon and the 1/4" Stitched Grograin Ribbon are fresh and welcome additions to the ribbon selection. I may need to get every single color! Yep!
10. Little Labels Punch Pack & Lovely Little Labels Stamps—Why is "mini" always so cute?! It really is! This adorable duo of tiny punches and matching images will surely create some awww-some accents! And, they coordinate with Tiny Tags, and Itty Bitty Bits, too!
11. Paper-Piercing Essentials, Piercing Mat & Piercing Tool—This combination of tools takes paper piercing to a whole new level! Unique templates allow you to pierce straight lines, scallops, and circles, plus they also coordinate with Apothecary Accents Framelits and several shaped punches. The large 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" piercing mat gives you plenty of room for piercing and doubles as a firm-foam stamping mat for crisp stamping results.
12. Apothecary Accents Framelits & Layered Labels Stamps—Woohoo! More unique, decorative shapes to use for layering! It will be fun to mix & match these with the Labels Framelits for lots of variation! And, the matching Layered Labels stamps will create lovely stacked sentiments!
13. Bitty Banners Framelits & Itty Bitty Banners Stamps—Banners are very popular right now, and this duo will make it so easy to add a cute banner sentiment to cards and scrapbook pages! So much easier than cutting those babies out!
