Hi Stamping Friends!

It's time once again for my Sunday Showcase, where I like to feature projects that my team members and other stamping friends have created. I love sharing their inspiration!

Fans of my Sunday Showcase probably recognize the name Peggy Tassler, and you may have heard me mention she is a stamping machine—'cause she is!  Everytime our team gets together for an event, she brings a whole tote filled with new cards!  Today, I'm featuring some of my favorites from her latest round of projects.  I think you'll like them, too!

Peggy - i like you hardwood copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color combo: Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, Crisp Cantaloupe, Gold & Whisper White.

Is it me, or does the Hardwood (wood) background makes every card look fantastic?  I love that stamp!  Peggy uses it here as a backdrop for the flowers from the I Like You Hostess (wood) stamp set.  The image is colored with Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow Markers and wrapped in Gold Baker's Twine.

Also features: Itty Bitty Banners (wood), Bitty Banners Framelits, Metallic Brads (retired)

Peggy - dahlias embossed 1 copy  Peggy - dahlias embossed 2 copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color combo: Strawberry Slush, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black & Whisper White.

Peggy embossed the Regarding Dahlias (wood) blossom in White Embossing Powder and colored it in with Strawberry Slush ink.  I don't recognize the leaves, but they are a lovely contrast colored in Pear Pizzazz. I love how the front focal point folds over the stamped dahlia images on the inside of the card.  So pretty!

Also features: En Francais (retired).

Peggy - bloom with hope file folder copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color combo: Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight & Whisper White.

Peggy created a mini file folder focal point using the Envelope Punch Board.  Learn how to make the tabs on my previous File Folder post. The flower image is from another hostess set called Bloom With Hope (wood), which is currently my favorite set in the whole catalog.  Looks like she colored it with Blendabilities in Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, then gave it a Daffodil Delight Seam Binding accent.  The background is embossed with the retired Stripes texture folder.

Peggy - moose & trees copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color combo: Baked Brown Sugar, Old Olive, Basic Black & Whisper White.

All of these beautiful, feminine flower cards and then we come to masculine Mr. Moose!  Reminds me of this little ditty that some of you may know…

Mr. Moose, from the Walk In The Wild (wood) set, may seem a bit out of place among the blooms, but he's very handsome nonetheless!  I love how Peggy added to the nature feel of this card by stamping the tree from Lovely As A Tree (wood) for the background, and wrapping the card with hemp twine.

Also features: Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood), Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, retired Metallic Brads.

Peggy - all abloom easel copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color combo: Pistachio Pudding, Mossy Meadow, Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush, Gold & Whisper White.

Peggy created this delightful easel card using the I Like You (wood) blooms and the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack.  The card base is scored at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4" to create the easel back.  The flowers are embossed in Gold Embossing Powder, then colored in with Markers.  She also colored in the retired Large Pearls with the Gold Stampin' Dazzle Marker—sweet detail!  The focal point layers and the element on the inside of the card that holds the easel in place are all die-cut with the Deco Labels Collection Framelits.

Peggy - too kind color block copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color combo: Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant & Whisper White.

We finish out the collection with a quick & easy, two-step stamping card using the Too Kind (wood) set.  The image is stamped over a clear-block stamped background in Tempting Turquoise.

Also features: Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. Bright Buttons.
