Hi Stamping Friends!
One of the creative challenges at my August Demo Team meeting last week was to try a One-Sheet Wonder project. If you've never heard of a one-sheet wonder, it's basically taking one sheet of paper, either one sheet of designer paper or one sheet of card stock you've stamped, cutting it up and using it to make lots of coordinated projects. You can find templates for OSWs all over the internet, or you can make up your own.
Two of my team members stepped up to the challenge: Rita Berning & Kathe Madsen! For today's Sunday Showcase, I'm featuring the projects created by Rita Berning.
Rita's Modern Medley One-Sheet Wonder Cards
Rita created 16 projects featuring one sheet of the gorgeous Modern Medley Designer Series Papers. Although she didn't use a template, she said she started by cutting the sheet into 16 3×3" pieces. The nice thing about using designer paper is that it's double-sided, so you have more versatility in using the pieces.
All the cards start with a Very Vanilla card stock base and are accented with a variety of embellishments.
1. Hi Card—Featuring Regarding Dahlias (wood), 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch and Very Vanilla Seam Binding.
2. Celebrate Today Woven Card—Featuring Perfectly Penned (wood), Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Brights Candy Dots, Candy Dot Brad Bases.
3. Hello, You Card—Featuring Regarding Dahlias (wood), 1" Square Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, retired Brights Buttons and Very Vintage Designer Buttons.
4. Celebrate Today Banner Card—Featuring Perfectly Penned (wood), the Hexagon Punch (for the fish-tail cuts), Coastal Cabana Ruffle Stretch Trim, and In Color Boutique Details.
5. Mr. & Mrs. Card—Featuring Label Love (wood), Artisan Label Punch, Silver Glimmer Paper, and 1/8" Black Taffeta Ribbon.
6. Happy Birthday Banner Trio Card—Featuring Perfectly Penned (wood), Brights Candy Dots, Rich Razzleberry Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, and Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
7. Hello, You Poloroid Card—Featuring Regarding Dahlias (wood), and Hung Up Cute Clips.
8. Thank You Folded Frame Card—Featuring Perfectly Penned (wood), Label Love (wood), Baked Brown Sugar Ruffle Stretch Trim, and In Color Boutique Details.
9. Get Well Dahlia Card—Featuring Regarding Dahlias (wood), Perfectly Penned (wood), and Victoria Crochet Trim.
10. Hi Circles Card—Featuring Regarding Dahlias (wood), 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Rhinestone Jewels, and Basic Black Chevron Ribbon.
11. Happy Halloween Button Card—Featuring Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood), Rich Razzleberry Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Witches' Brew Washi Tape and retired Bright Buttons.
12. Happy Halloween Washi Tape Card—Featuring Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood), Pumpkin Pie 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Word Window Punch, and Witches' Brew Washi Tape.
13. Happy Birthday Label Love Card—Featuring Label Love (wood), Artisan Label Punch, Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, and Hung Up Cute Clips.
14. Thinking of You Card—Featuring Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood), Word Window Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Pearl Jewels, Tea Lace Paper Doily, and Very Vanilla Seam Binding.
15. Celebrate Today Gate-Fold Card—Featuring Perfectly Penned (wood), Very Vintage Designer Buttons, and White Baker's Twine.
16. Hi Scraps Card—Rita didn't let ANY of her left-over scraps go to waste! She added them all to this card in a fun collage! Too cool! Featuring Regarding Dahlias (wood), Gorgeous Grunge (wood), 1/8" Black Taffeta Ribbon, and Basic Black Chevron Ribbon.
