Hi Stamping Friends!

It's Sunday Showcase time and this week I'm highlighting the cards from my upcoming Stamper Sampler Class featuring Sheer Perfection Vellum.  You are no longer able to earn this Sale-a-Bration exclusive vellum, but you can play with it one more time at this month's Stamper Sampler!

I've already featured two of the 7 class projects…click the links below to see details!

Sheer vellum - two cool

Colored Butterfly Vellum Cards—We'll be doing the Old Olive card at class.

Perfection pocket card - two cool

Dry Embossed Vellum Pocket Card—We'll be creating the Lost Lagoon version at class.

Dsp patterned vellum - two cool

Designer Series Paper Vellum Overlay Card—With the transparent nature of Sheer Perfection Vellum, it's fun to layer it over a pretty patterned background for a colorful background element.

Dsp patterned vellum - cantaloupe

CASEd from Ronda Wade at Stamp With Ronda.

This is the version we'll be creating at class.

Background Basics—I layered a 3" x 5" piece of the floral Sheer Perfection Vellum over a 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack Crisp Cantaloupe piece of the same size with SNAIL. It's mounted on a 3-1/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock.  I tied some Pistachio Pudding Thick Baker's Twine around it and frayed at the end. It's adhered to a Basic Gray card base with SNAIL.

Dsp patterned vellum - cantaloupe 2

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Nature's Perfection wildflower image in Crisp Cantaloupe onto a 2-1/2" Circle punch-out, and added a Painted Petals sentiment over the top in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The circle is mounted on a Pistachio Pudding Starburst Framelits die-cut and popped with Dimensionals.  I added a double-layer butterfly accent make with the Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches and some Pearl Jewels.

Dsp patterned vellum - pistachio 2

Two Cool—Same elements, I just switched the colors for my second version, including Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine.

Dazzling vellum leaves - two cool

Dazzling Vellum Leaves Card—I used the same overlay technique on this card, but I added some glitz to the background, too!

Dazzling vellum leaves - eggplant

This is the version we'll be creating at class.

Background Basics—I started with a 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White layer on a Wisteria Wonder card base.  I added a Wisteria Wonder Chevron Ribbon banner flush at the top.

Dazzling vellum leaves - eggplant 2

Focal Point & Sentiment—I layered the 3" x 3" leaves vellum over Pistachio Pudding In Color DSP Stack paper with SNAIL, then mounted it on a 3-1/4" square of Elegant Eggplant.  For a little glitz, I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to all of the leaves with a 2-Way Glue Pen.

I embellished the card with a butterfly created with a Butterfly Thinlits die-cut from Elegant Eggplant card stock and a Bitty Butterflies Punch from Wisteria Wonder.  It's finished with a Rhinestone Jewel and an Elegant Eggplant sentiment from Too Kind.

Dazzling vellum leaves - indigo

Two Cool—Second version is in Island Indigo and Basic Gray.  I switched to Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon.

Brayered vellume - two cool

Brayered Vellum Card—This time I colored the vellum by applying ink with a Brayer.  It's super quick and so pretty!

Brayered vellume - strawberry

This is the color we'll be creating in class.

Background Basics—I started by stamping the Dictionary background stamp in Basic Gray onto a 3" x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White.  Then, I brayered Blushing Bride ink onto the back of a 3" x 5-1/2" piece of the floral vellum pattern.  It takes a little time to dry because of the smooth surface, but when it's dry, adhere it to the stamped piece.  That is layered onto a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic Gray card stock and adhered to a Strawberry Slush card base.

I added a strip of Basic Gray Epic Day Washi Tape flush with the background element.

Brayered vellume - strawberry 2

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Hello There hostess stamp greeting in Memento black onto Whisper White, then punched it out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.  It's layered onto a Strawberry Slush Flower Medallion punch-out and popped up with Dimensionals over a 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" Blushing Bride banner.

Finishing Touches—I popped up a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper Bitty Butterfly with Dimensionals and added three floating Rhinestone Jewels.

Brayered vellume - bermuda

Two Cool—The second version is in Bermuda Bay and Pool Party colors.  I like the vertical banner on this one.

Sheer vellum notes - two cool

3" x 3" Butterfly Thank You Notes—The final two projects from the class are these sweet little butterfly notes!  Each card has a different 2-3/4" square Sheer Perfection Vellum background. I punched a Whisper White circle foundation with the 2" Circle Punch and popped it with Dimensionals.

Focal Point—I die-cut Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry butterflies with the Butterfly Thinlits.  Then, I stamped the small butterfly from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in Pool Party and Perfect Plum and punched them with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.  One is topped with a Rhinestone Jewel, and the other with a Pearl Jewel. I popped one layer up of the butterflies with Dimensionals; on one card it's the back butterfly and on the other it's the front.  Mixin' it up!

Sweet Sentiment—The sentiment is from the Too Kind set, stamped in either Tempting Turquoise or Rich Razzleberry inks and die-cut with the Bitty Banners Framelits
