Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, step-moms, soon-to-be mothers, and anyone who has helped to love, support, and nurture someone like a mother would.
I'm sure missing My Mommy today, but I'm so very grateful to have my Other Mother, Dawn Gerardot Putman, in my life! I also have a wonderful family of surrogate moms: all my aunts (Jan, Ginny & Christine), two of my mom's close friends (Donna & Lynnie), and my mom-in-law (Nancy). None of these amazing women are my "mom," but I feel so blessed to have them in my life to support, guide and "mother" me! I appreciate you and love you all so very much!

In honor of Mother's Day, today we'll be celebrating with some Christmas projects!!?! Haha! Enjoy this showcase of some of my favorite holiday-themed cards & tags using items from the Retired Stamps List and Retired Accessories List.
You can get details on each project, including instructions and supply list, by clicking on the link under each photo.
I sure got a lot of use out of my Season of Joy! So versatile and festive! This is one of my favorite Christmas cards because it was fun to make and it's so cute and sparkly! I love the way the hills nestle inside the Circle Scallops #2 die-cut. Love that die and it's going, too! The snowflakes on the sky are from the soon-to-retire Serene Snowflakes set and it's wrapped with retiring Bashful Blue 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.
I love the vintage silhouettes from the retiring Winter Post and Welcome Christmas sets. Paired with the retiring Mocha Morning Designer Paper, and retiring Chantilly Crochet Trim, these holiday tags were simply stunning!
The family silhouette from retiring Welcome Christmas worked perfectly for this "window" card! The bottom is lined with some scrunched up retiring Deck The Halls Designer Fabric and the top of the window has a retiring Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain bow.
Another one of my very favorite winter cards! I think the retiring Serene Snowflakes sets may be one of the most difficult stamp sets to let go. I love, Love, LOVE these snowflake designs in a multitude of sizes! They are perfect for focal points, but AWESOME for backgrounds! If you don't have this basic and very versatile set, you really should own it! It's a go-to set for snowy cards! Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon is retiring, too.
Simple Snowflake & Melting Snowman Tags
Why, oh why, are all the snowflakes going away? The retiring Snowflake Punch is perfect for wintery accents on cards and scrapbooks, but you can also use it for "branches" when you do punch art. See my melting snowman arms from that punch? Cute! The Snow Burst Impressions Folder and Four The Holidays stamps set are also retiring.
Tree Trimmings Glitter Ornament
Nothing beats the bold and sparkling pop of red Fine Galaxy Glitter (already sold out!) on this retiring Tree Trimmings ornament trio. Make those beautiful decorative corners with the retiring Ticket Corner Punch.
The individual retiring Christmas Postcard stamp is perfect for heat embossing and coloring for an old style holiday feel! Retiring Gold Waffle Paper looks terrific as a coordinating metallic ruffle.
Although the Christmas Stocking Die is staying, the fun Stocking Accents Die is retiring. I loved these cute two-tone Glimmer Paper tags! The ornament tag is highlighted with a snowflake from the retiring Northern Frost Decorative Strip Sizzlit and a retiring Clear Rhinestone Brad.
Poppin' Pastels Christmas Collage
Love the soft pretty look of this poppin' pastels card! It's starts with the retiring Christmas Collage background stamp, inked in VersaMark, and sponged with the retiring Stampin' Pastels. The vintage look is trimmed with some retiring Chantilly Crochet Trim.
5-Petal Punch Poinsettia Flowers
This card is not only pretty, it's quick and easy, too! The beautiful poinsettia is created with the retiring 5-Petal Punch. The center of the flower has some retiring Clear Rhinestone Brads and the sentiment is from the retiring Heard From The Heart.
The Candy Candy Christmas paper is long gone, but you could always use some of the coordinating Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric. Many of the other supplies to make this card—Eyelet Border Punch, Heard From The Heart stamp set, and Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain—are all retiring!
This card reminds me of a children's book with fun textures to touch! The ornament is created by cutting a window with the retiring Movers & Shapers Die and retiring Holiday Windows Die inserts. Then, the retiring Deck The Halls Designer Fabric is stuffed with some cotton balls and trimmed with retiring Chantilly Crochet ribbon. Here are some more ideas with Deck The Halls Fabric. And here, too!
Blossom Box with Snowflake Rosettes
Not only is this cool Blossom Box Die retiring, but so is the beautiful Lace Ribbon Border Punch that I used to make this rosette. Bye, bye, cute box!
