Hi Stamping Friends!
As I mentioned yesterday, I'm doing some cleanup of my blogging files and I'm finding all kinds of projects that I don't think that I've shared with you. I thought today would be the perfect time to do a little more catch-up! Specifically, these projects all have ties to projects that I've shown previously, but there's just one more thing to add that I haven't shown you!
I know that probably doesn't make sense…let's just get started and you'll see what I mean!
Remember my 5-Sheet Wonder Stamper Sampler Class that I had a few weeks ago? This is the decorated card case that you could receive as a bonus for placing a larger order to qualify for the class.
I stamped another full 8-1/2" x 11" Whisper White sheet with the Letterpress Winter background to create more paper to match the 10-card set. Then, I trimmed it down to two 5" x 7" pieces for the front and back, and one 1" x 7" piece for the spine. Those pieces fit perfectly inside the sleeves of a Wood Mount Stamp Case, and that case perfectly holds all 10 cards with envelopes!
I decorated the front with a 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" piece of Perfect Plum card stock, embossed with the Detailed Designs Texture Impression Folder. I adhered a 3-3/8" x 3/4" strip of Silver Glimmer Paper for some sparkle, then added an Island Indigo banner courtesy of the Banners Framelits. The cover is finished with the Merry Everything (wood) sentiment stamped in Blackberry Bliss and die-cut with the Labels Collection Framelits. It's the perfect storage case for your 5-Sheet Wonder card set, which also makes it a great gift idea!
You probably remember the stunning Blackberry Bliss & Gold Bright & Beautiful card that my friend Janet Shinn created recently for a Demo Team swap. Well I loved it so much that I wanted to use it at my "Last Thursdays" class last week. Since some of my team members were also coming to the class, I offered the option of doing the same card in Island Indigo instead.
I love this card design and I think it would look great in just about any of the Regal family of colors. It's just as majestic in Island Indigo! But, you still need to see the shimmer and sparkle in person to get the full effect.
I added a tiny Bright & Beautiful (wood) sentiment to my cards, punched with the Little Labels Punch Pack.
Also features: Champagne Glimmer Paper, Gold Satin Ribbon, Gold Embossing Powder, Stars Framelits, and Beautiful Baroque Texture Impressions Folder.
I like to add little Thank Yous in my class kits and these 3×3" notes were the ones I made for my Letterpress Winter Countdown To Christmas kit. One of the cards was already featured in my Sunday Showcase last week on the Mini Gift Bag with Note Card Hanger.
I started with a Whisper White 3×3" note card and decorated the front with All Is Calm Designer Series Paper. The "for you" and snowflake stamps are from Letterpress Winter, and they are punched with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and the 3/4" Circle Punch. I added some finishing touches with the Frosted Sequins snowflakes and a Rhinestone Jewel.
And speaking of Thank You notes…these were a couple 3×3" notes that I created for my For All Things Stamper Sampler class participants. They were modeled after one of the Diagonal Washi Tape cards we made in the class.
These notes were so fun and simple to make! I adhered strips of the Color Me Autumn Washi Tape over the front of a 2-3/4" Whisper White square. Then, I die-cut the center with the Word Bubbles Framelits. The Another Thank You sentiment is stamped in coordinating Cajun Craze and is adorned with Rhinestone Jewels.
And, since we're on the topic of 3×3" note cards…let's finish up with the last project from my Festival of Trees Stamp-of-the-Month Class.
I started with a strip of All Is Calm Washi Tape across the bottom, then added a Soft Sky Circles Collection Framelits die-cut for the background. The first tree is stamped with a Festival of Trees image in Lost Lagoon, then stamped again with the ornament dots image in Pear Pizzazz. The image was cut out with the Tree Punch. The second tree was punched with the Tree Punch from the All Is Calm Designer Series Paper.
I finished up the card with a Good Greetings (no longer available) stamped sentiment on a hand-cut banner and a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper star punched from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
