Hi Stamping Friends!
I've had the pleasure of sponsoring my nieces' softball team this year and it's been so much fun! I've enjoyed going to their games and cheering on this awesome group of ladies! I've seen some amazing plays this season, along with some fantastic team spirit!
Two of my nieces play for the team, Cassie (left) & Sammi (right), and my brother-in-law, Colin, coaches.
Cassie will be a sophomore and is one of the team's two pitchers. You should see the stare-down she gives someone attempting to advance a base! Scary!
And, don't turn your back on her, or she may steal a base or two!
Sammi is a fierce first-base player. Looks like they just missed the out here, but there were lots of Cassie-to-Sammi plays for the out at first! She's quite a hitter, too! Right, Slammin' Sammi?!
Sammi just graduated and is heading to Purdue University in a few weeks. She's been playing softball since she was little, so it was bittersweet to watch her play her final game. I'm so proud of Sammi for winning the Best Attitude award and earning a spot on this year's All-Star team, too.
During the final team huddle, Sammi gave a little goodbye speech alongside the other two seniors, Katia and Sarah. We'll sure miss you, ladies!
The team did a final Too Cool Stamping cheer at the end of the last huddle. I love that they had hand motions to go with each word of Too Cool Stamping. The fist they're making here is the "stamping" part!
I'm so proud of each and every one of the ladies on this year's Too Cool Stamping team and I look forward to sponsoring them again!
And, while I'm talking softball, I didn't want to leave out my other two nieces: Sophie, who plays for the 4th-5th grade division, and Ellie, who plays for the middle school division. Both of their teams are coached by their dad, as well. They made All-Stars in their divisions, too!
Sophie & Ellie both began pitching this year!
I love this photo I shot of Ellie making a great catch during her final game this season! Way to go, girls!

Totally Awesome Mini Coffee Cup Team Treats
I made some cute little treats for the Too Cool Stamping team for their final game day.
Mini Coffee Cup Basics—These treats are fun to make and are especially a big hit with Starbucks fans! The cups are about the size of a Dixie cup, and they have real coffee cup lids that fit on top! I purchased them from WebRestaurantStore.com: cups & lids come separately.
Creating The Wrap—You can find a link to a template to create the wrap on my previous post with this project: Mini Coffee Cups. I used the template to cut out wraps from the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper using patterns that coordinated with our Too Cool Stamping shirt color. It's adhered to the cup with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment from the Grateful Bunch stamp set in Island Indigo ink onto Whisper White card stock, then die-cut it with the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. I punched out a second layer in Mint Macaron with the Decorative Label Punch, cut it in half length-wise, then re-positioned it to the top and bottom of the first label. It's adhered to the cup front with Dimensionals.
Flower Accent—I punched a Petite Petals flower from Island Indigo card stock, adhered it with a Glue Dot and added a Rhinestone Jewel to the center for a cute accent.
Bow Accent—I wanted to use the Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon for the top, but I didn't have enough on hand, so I opted for some retired Pool Party Glimmer Ribbon. It's adhered with a Glue Dot, but I found that some of them were falling off in the outside heat & humidity. I would recommend using the Multipurpose Glue with the glimmer ribbon.
Coffee Treats—Inside the box was filled with coffee, espresso and latte flavored hard candies. I found a huge jar of them at Office Depot and they are yummy!
Team Treats—I hope the team enjoyed their treats! I think that at least Haley did! LOL!
